We had an amazing stay at Sala Chaweng and couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend our honeymoon. The included breakfast was one of the best we’ve experienced, with a great selection and excellent quality every morning. Our Garden Villa was beautiful, spacious, and had everything we could possibly need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. What really made the experience special was the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely couldn’t do enough for us throughout our stay. The app feature to contact the front desk was also fantastic – responses were always quick and efficient, making everything so easy. A special mention to the General Manager, who was constantly walking around the resort, checking in with guests and making time for a chat. It was clear how much he cares about both the hotel and the guest experience. The little extra touches throughout our stay made our honeymoon feel truly special, and we’ve made memories that will last a lifetime. We would highly recommend Sala Chaweng to anyone visiting Koh Samui and hope to return again in the future.

Dear Expedia Customer Support, I am writing regarding a recent stay booked through Expedia. The room we received did not match the photo and description shown on your website. The image presented was a key factor in our booking decision, and the actual room was clearly different. The hotel agreed to move us to a room that matched what was advertised, but required an additional payment of 2,000 THB per night. As we had already paid for the room as presented online, we had no reasonable alternative and paid an extra 8,000 THB for 4 nights. The hotel manager advised me to contact Expedia directly, as the discrepancy relates to how the room was displayed on your platform. As a loyal Expedia customer, I kindly request reimbursement of the additional 8,000 THB. I would appreciate your prompt review and resolution of this matter. Thank you in advance for your assistance. The breakfast is terrible. The service at restaurant was poor. Over two hours to eat dinner and that includes me having to leave table twice to get the waiters attention. The lobby staff was inconsistent and often rude. I would not recommend and will not return to this hotel.

The staff at this hotel made the stay exceptional. They went above and beyond and made us feel so special. The rooms were perfection. The property was beautiful and we loved the beach and pool and everything. Breakfast was good. Not super elaborate. I wish they had a few more options. But overall I would stay here again.

Please note that SALA Chaweng Beach Resort is split into two wings, “Oceanfront” and “Garden” Wing. Rooms in the Garden wing are located on the opposite side of the road to the hotel main entrance, and will be required to cross the zebra crossing when visiting our lobby, beachfront pool and The Tent restaurant. Any guests not wanting to cross the road are advised to book one of our Oceanfront room types. Additionally, breakfast will be served in different locations depending on the room type booked by the customer.
