The biggest reasons for my poor review were that they did not ever clean the room while we were there, despite being asked and that much of what was promised online (rooftop, lobby lounge, satellite tv) were not actually provided. Other than breakfast, it is a bare-basics place. Clean room to start with, not much more.

Nice hotel with a restaurant. The rooms were heated which is not a given in the area. It was a very comfortable stay. Street parking only.

A great hotel very close to the main entrance to the Petra archeological park. A very clean hotel with updated rooms, a really nice shower and a great lobby. The gentleman at the front desk was super willing to help me convert my USD to JOD and help me book tickets to the Petra at Night experience. There are multiple restaurants, shops and souvenir stores within an easy walking distance to the hotel. The only "bad" thing is that it seems like the walls of the rooms are a little thin so I was able to follow along to the song that the people in the room next to me were listening to beginning at 0700 every morning.

I had a delightful stay at La Maison hotel in Petra. The location was perfect, just a 2-minute walk from the Petra visitor center, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the ancient city. The buffet was excellent, offering a variety of delicious options. Moreover, the concierge and bellman were exceptionally friendly and helpful, adding to the overall positive experience. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Petra.
