We were in the room for only ten minutes. The sent was choking my wife, she had to go outside for fresh air. We couldn’t stay there. They would not refund any money.
We ended up across town at the Niu Hotel which not far from the main train station. It was about the same cost and it was beautiful.

Really good for 1 night stay next to Düsseldorf Zoo HB easy to get to the Airport in matter of minutes and Central Station the same.
