Lovely hotel Close to great restaurants clean helpful staff Street noise most of the night with partygoers, police cars,and street cleaners. Air conditioner had trouble with summer heat. Humidity in room was high

This was our 2nd time to stay at Hotel Smeraldo. We enjoyed our stay so much three years ago that I booked it again for this trip! The staff is so friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. One of our favorite things about the hotel is the adorable roof top bar. We had dinner our last night and it was fantastic! Wonderful little hotel! I would book here again if we ever visit the Eternal City again!

Great and helpful staff, with a good breakfast. The AC worked but struggled a bit during the heatwave. The location was excellent for sightseeing, though the area is very touristy.
