July 2026, celebrated birthday with spouse. Cozy resort, front entrance being updated and some minor maintenance. Enjoyed the food at La Cevicheria, Rosato, and Coffee shop. The buffet was okay. Main bar had entertainment in the night, karaoke, DJ, or a live band. Drinks were okay depending on what you want. Need to pay extra for some specialty drinks. As usual, tipping will be well appreciated and in return service will be delivered. There’s a small kids pool but seen several small children at the adult pool swim up bar. Which was hard to enjoy with all the splashing and screaming. Pool closed one afternoon due to cleaning. Get up early and reserve your chair and enjoy the spectacular sunrise on the ocean. A few games played at the Adult pool. The seaweed is maintained at the ocean, waves were strong but was nice relaxing by a cabana. Staff friendly and really do try their best to make you feel welcomed and provide great service. Tip, there’s a beautiful peaceful garden sitting area on the side of the coffee shop. Great for enjoying morning coffee or. eating sushi. Ocean view room king, near adult pool side. Room smelled moldy, had to ask for maid service to clean and change the bedding. Electrical locks caused us to be locked out twice and sat outside our room for and hour at night. They had to change the lock in the morning which caused us another two hour wait time until it was replaced. That was our biggest disappointment. Nice resort to experience but won’t return.
