Getting to the first Floor was not easy with a large luggage since the staircase is so narrow. No indication that There was no elevators. Room too noisy at night with fast car traffic passing by. the Windows had to ne openned beause of the hot weather. Not a good night sleep.

Caution. We booked this location due to proximity to the ferries but on a busy weekend the authorities will not allow a left turn at the bottom of Maison Dieu road. You will be sent out of town and 3 roundabouts later able to come back. A 10 minute drive becomes 2.5 hours.
The room was okay. Tired. The person that opened the front door did not introduce themselves and or say welcome. The first thing they said was “you should have received an email with check-in information.” It turns out I did but since I had been driving for hours I didn’t see it. Maybe send it the day before? If people are ringing the doorbell there’s a chance they did in fact not see said email.
