The hotel room smelled of mold, the carpet was wet . The air conditioning sounded like it was going to blow up any minute and the bed sheets were stained. It was very run down

Do yourself some disappoint & don't stay at this lousy dumpy so-called hotel! When driving up to the place it knew I made a wrong choice. It is not appealing to see the exterior. The interior is very old and outdated; the receptacles are yellow instead of white. Once entering the interior, the lobby was scorching hot. The carpets seem it hasn't been vacuumed in months, wallpaper in the hall is hanging down, it has/had water leaks from the top floor and you can see ceiling water stains not to mention possibility of mold. In the bathroom they replaced the shower door since it's not the proper one to seal & fit correctly when you shower the water leaks severely out the shower onto the floor, prior to taking a shower I had to continuously put a large towel in the front of the shower to soak up the water. On each side of the shower door the opening is at least 1/4" causing water to escape. On the floor in front of shower the flooring was not properly put leaving a gap & now the mold is settling in. The TV has cable box, but it doesn't work so no TV to watch. We got in Thursday, Friday my wife went to the desk and requested room cleaning, they didn't come clean the room until Saturday. When my wife went back to her Saturday morning very frustrated because it still wasn't clean the attendant mentioned that I requested no room cleaning, totally LIE. The breakfast is TERRIBLE & where the food is located it's filthy. Stay across the street at Best Western/Holiday Inn Express
