Per sota de la mitjana I dont know whos fault. I booked and paid thtiugh the Hotels.com app and on the check in day, the Blackhorse Hotel said i was not booked for. Thus i lost my money and had to book other hotel as the only room available at Blackhorse wasnt suited for me. No refund for me...becareful of using hotels.com app.

After a series of missed calls and ignored messages in the app, I was able to organise a late check in. Despite this on the day of my arrival, this property was very ready to leave me out on the street in the middle of the night. It took another two missed calls and a yelling match over the phone to finally get into my room.

Partner and I were in the city for a concert at Wolfbrook Arena, and were greeted by very friendly and helpful staff who were happy to help us with the best route to walk to and from.

We were not shown where the facilities were, as the staff only quickly tidied the room upon our arrival. We arrived at 5:00 pm, so there had been sufficient time to have the room properly prepared in advance. It also appeared that the sheets had not been changed, and we were only provided with a couple of towels at that time. In addition, the common areas had a strong cigarette smell, which made the environment uncomfortable.
Although we had already paid for the stay, we decided not to remain due to these issues and concerns about safety. Unfortunately, the staff did not make any effort to address our concerns or offer a solution. Overall, the experience was very disappointing.
