Location was great (never more than 200m from a bus), staff helpful, communal water dispensers, door on the shower, modern place, luggage storage. Negatives were that the fridge didn't keep food cold, there were hairs randomly around, the air conditioning was never at the temperature I set it at (although it was close), the sink drain plug wouldn't stay open, the shower leaked into the rest of the bathroom, plus I don't think they wash the floors often as there were stains around that were possible to be wiped away.

Looked like a boutique hotel from the outside but not so much on the inside. Not the cleanest but location was a plus point (it was near gancheng station where you could take a bus out to Sun Moon Lake). There were many homeless around that area too, not that they bothered you or anything.

Per sota de la mitjana Housekeeping is slip slop. Furniture is stained and dirtied. Toilet paper is not replenished. Linen is not changed. Television is not working. Breakfast is 2 out of 3 stars.
The ultimate put off is intentionally blocking off guest’s call at designated time. I pray no one ever require emergency attention in this hotel.

Breakfast provided by adjacent hotel. Many suncake bakeries nearby. Taichung park and sunshine outlet nearby as well. Don't like the design where the sink is beside the room door. Price is competitive.
