This hotel is in the best location for exploring the old city of George Town. Close to lots of restaurants and sites. The room was very comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Not so much a boutique hotel as a better-than-average cheapie. Many rooms are windowless (not unusual for Malaysia) and the place is basically a reasonably well kept low-rise guesthouse, part of the multi-year gentrifaction of central George Town. Good in terms of nearby eating options and walkability.
