Clean, spacious room. We can see the town of Rouen with its cathedrals and can even watch the sunset from our room. The staff members were super helpful and very friendly.

We stayed over May day so that may have had an impact on the stay. This hotel has all the ingredients to make an incredible experience, great rooms, in a freshly built / restored hotel. The issue is that the setting is the experience. The staff are lovely but are just not as incredible as the setting. If you eat in the restaurant, the Chef though is very gifted, you will have to hope that nothing happens to your food on it’s journey to you. Expect a good stay and you will not be disappointed but if you are hoping for exceptional you may be.
