Beautiful property, the shared outdoor kitchen was so nice to use and then sit and enjoy the sounds of birds and the fresh air. I now wish I could have my own! The room was fine, had all the necessary essentials and the AC worked great. The space indoor and outdoor felt safe and secure and the other guests were respectful and polite. The staff was helpful in figuring out the parking situation so that everyone could park and not get in each others' ways. One thing to be aware of is that the shower has only one water temperature: lukewarm. It was a bit of a surprise but was not a problem for us because of the warm climate. We now also realize that it's quite common in Costa Rica, the next hotel we stayed at also did not have hot water. The location was very good, away from the immediate busy areas of La Fortuna but close enough to walk or drive. There was also a popular swimming spot in the river just down the road. We would definitely consider staying here again in future visits to La Fortuna!

A/C leaking, roof leaked after heavy rain which happens often in a rain forest, ants everywhere, hole in door, bad wifi, unhelpful owner, barley anyone on property to help, thin walls and loud road, uncomfortable mattress.

The room and location was as advertised. Loved the availability of the shared outdoor kitchen, if I had been staying for more than a few days. The pool is also as seen in photos. Front desk was very helpful and informative.

Sweet little hotel, but really noisy. It's by a busy road, and the doors have gaps around the edges, so you hear all the road noise (and we were pretty fast back). Also, the walls are really thin. The first night, we heard the girls talking next door really clearly, until I knocked on the wall. Also, the beds were not fabulous. However, the outdoor kitchen in the back was really lovely! It was a great place to unwind at the end of the day. And though we had a rental car, it was nice to be able to walk into town for dinner. Overall, a good budget base camp for the Arenal Volcano.

This is a quaint little place which offers the minimum necessary accommodations. The kitchen in back was well set up to cook/make coffee or tea.

Cheap but still overpriced for what it is.

Swimming pool and walkable distance to downtown

The road noise is terrible. Room is very basic, but clean. No hot water - luke warm only. Outside area is nice and well equip. it is a short 12-15 minute walk into town.

“Milly” met me at reception, professional and welcoming. Clean & nice room, cool outdoor kitchen area by pool. Great AC, nice bed. Close to center of town. RECOMMEND!
