I would like to say that the property is located in a nice quiet part of town, the view is amazing the property is big have a nice infinity pool overlooking the bay, but the hotel feel understaffed, there’s two people working the pool bar, if you want a drink or food you have to walk to the bar place and order and wait for the drink to be made no one is walking around asking you if you would a drink or even clean up your table once you finished your drink or food, which it bring up my next complaint, the room was dirty at check in, trash from the previous guest in the bathroom trashcan, you can tell someone had spill a drink on a small table and it was not cleaned up properly it felt sticky, the next day we asked for the room to be cleaned just to find out the floor towel we used to dry our feet in the shower was not changed.
The hotel offers shuttle services to the beach and market which is about 1.2 kilometers from the property, from 12 noon till 6:00 pm once per hour the tuk tuk only has capacity for 10 guest if the tuk tuk is full or you miss it by a few minutes you’ll have to wait for an hour for the next one, walk to town, or get your own transportation, I like to wake up early so I walked several times to town and noticed the other resorts around the area constantly shuttling their guest to the beach unfortunately Nakamala only does it once every hour. The property lacks the customer service that I was hoping for for such a beautiful property I was very disappointed.
