Hallstatt is a charming and picturesque village that feels almost like a postcard brought to life. We visited Hallstatt on a one day tour organised by this tour agency, travelling by bus from Salzburg and back on Christmas Eve. We arrived at around 10.15 am, and just as we stepped off the bus, it began to snow. The gentle snowfall created a magical atmosphere and provided a stunning backdrop to the beautiful streets and lakeside views. The village itself is small and serene, with a main street that is not very long, making it easy to explore on foot. Shops and stalls were just starting to open, adding to the calm and unhurried charm of the morning. As it was a day trip with limited time, we did not manage to visit the salt mine, and the Skywalk was closed during our visit. Instead, we chose to slow down and enjoy the moment by spending some time in a cosy café, soaking in the views and the peaceful winter ambience.

Una excursió d'un dia inoblidable a Hallstatt, gràcies a l'organització de Klook. Des del punt de trobada (Òpera, 7 del matí), les explicacions del guia sobre la història de Hallstatt, la història i l'origen de les mines de sal, i la història de la dinastia dels Habsburg van ser molt clares, permetent a un profà entendre-ho ràpidament. Un cop allà, ens va guiar per la ciutat, explicant-nos-ho tot i recordant-nos incansablement l'hora de trobada i les precaucions, cosa que em va fer sentir com quan era petit i anava d'excursió. Gràcies de nou! Per descomptat, el paisatge de Hallstatt és increïblement bonic, estic molt content d'haver-me unit a aquest tour, el recomano molt!

Kylie was an amazing, informative and very entertaining guide. Lots of behind the scene info and tidbits on the sound of music production. Breathtaking views of Salzburg and surrounding towns dotted the route. The sing-along during the bus ride is also a highlight for all sound of music fans.

Pricilla was an absolutely wonderful guide for our trip to Hallstatt and Salzburg! She was one of the kindest and most knowledgeable guides we’ve had, and she made the entire day such a memorable experience. She shared so much interesting history and insight about both places while always being warm, patient, and genuinely thoughtful. You can tell she truly cares about making the experience special for everyone. She also took beautiful pictures of us on the trip and even printed them out for us, which really made our trip excellent! We couldn’t have asked for a better guide—thank you, Pricilla, for an amazing day!

Nice scenic day trip from Vienna. Bus was comfortable and the guide was very professional. Very much enjoyed the day trip and back in town just in time for dinner!
