I booked via Klook this tour with SST tour operator just the day before. Unfortunately this Calypso Cruise (new route) was overbooked and SST (operator Mie, very kind and efficient) immediately proposed as alternative solution at same price Starlight Cruise (route 2). The booking service and tour operator have been great, the tour with Starlight is Ok, good food and kind people, even if is very mainstream touristic and, since I was forced to do the tour on weekend, the bay was overcrowded.
lovely experience from start to end. do give it a try, change of scenery from the busy Hanoi where I departed from.
Jumped in for a swim and saw some polluted streaks in the water after so I left the water not long after. Not much guidance really since it's a cruise but the atmosphere was great and very enjoyable. 1 night probably enough as a solo traveller and the kayaking was absolutely fantastic. Food was okay. Good timing for everything and had plenty of time to relax and just soak up the atmosphere. The hot tub up top was delightful.
A very relaxing and fullfilling cruise , excellently managed by cruise guide Tom . And to Ms Maddie from SST Travels for being very helpful , informative and forthcoming throughout this awesome holiday in Ha Long Bay .TQ
Great team very helpful and try to do extra miles to keep you happy. I will use them again definitely.
The cave came as a surprise to most of us and isn’t really a place to visit.
