Passeu un dia sencer remant a l'ombra fresca dels canons d'Ao Thalane, al nord de Krabi. Exploreu el divers ecosistema en un caiac sit-on-top, maniobrant a través de boscos de manglars, coves i canals envoltats de formacions rocoses imponents, mentre observeu la diversa fauna salvatge, inclosos macacos menjacrancs, gibons, alguna cigala ocasional i llúdries. Gaudiu d'un deliciós dinar i trobeu la platja privada perfecta per relaxar-vos i fer un bany refrescant.

Deixeu-vos recollir pel nostre amable conductor i feu un trajecte panoràmic de 20 minuts per pobles rurals fins a la increïble badia de Thalane, esquitxada de formacions càrstiques, situada al nord de Krabi. Després d'arribar al centre de caiac amb un moll privat, gaudiu d'un cafè mentre el vostre guia prepara l'equip i estudia les taules de marees. Rebeu una breu explicació sobre com utilitzar els rems abans d'embarcar-vos en els caiacs oberts.
Comenceu a remar una curta distància per aigües obertes des del punt de llançament fins al bosc de manglars d'Ao Thalane. El guia us conduirà per canals poc profunds i per arrels submergides. Descobriu penya-segats amb pintures històriques suposadament mil·lenàries fetes per gitanos de mar que van viure en aquesta zona.
De vegades, deixeu de remar i simplement escolteu. Silenci, excepte el so ocasional de les cigales i el xiuxiueig de les fulles a sobre. Les arrels aèries dels manglars d'Ao Thalane són la llar de molts crustacis que atrauen molts peixos de caça com els pargos en aquestes aigües. També podreu observar diverses espècies d'ocells i micos, en particular el macaco menjador de crancs.
Algunes parts del trajecte requereixen que negocieu girs tancats en espais reduïts mentre us obriu pas pel bosc. Per tant, aquesta excursió està especialment dissenyada per ser semi-privada, amb un màxim de 10 persones per guia. Gaudiu de l'entorn verge sense multituds desagradables.
Al migdia, gaudiu d'un deliciós dinar d'estil tailandès per recarregar les piles per a la propera aventura. Continueu remant i endinseu-vos als canons d'Ao Thalane, just al costat de penya-segats de pedra calcària gairebé verticals, que s'alcen sobre vosaltres. Entreu en una gran cova amb estalagmites i estalactites que va ser anomenada la Cova del Cocodril, probablement perquè algunes de les estalactites penjants poden semblar un cocodril a aquells amb una mica d'imaginació.
Sortiu de la cova i continueu per una llacuna en el vostre camí de sortida del bosc. Envoltada pels karsts de pedra calcària, aquest espectacular paisatge marí en aquesta part d'Ao Thalane és el lloc de rodatge de moltes pel·lícules. El temps total de rem és d'unes 3 hores, sense incloure les pauses.

NOT TO BE MISSED. I truly can’t recommend this enough. I’ve been travelling for 2 months and this activity was easily one of the best. A full day of kayaking is quite tiring but for the beautiful sights it is worth it! You even get driven to a fancy villa to have a delicious lunch (no pic of the lunch unfortunately but i promise it’s surprisingly good!). Overall 10/10, i will be doing this activity again when I next return to krabi.
Fun and informative. Was guided by “A” and he ensured that we were safe and well throughout the whole kayaking trip. He was also knowledgeable about the local eco system and could share with us information about the mangroves and their importance to local biodiversity and livelihoods. Will recommend the full day kayaking and come back again.
Definitely recommend the full day kayaking! The guide is super friendly and knowledgable! First half will be covering longer distance by going into the mangrove. Pace of kayak is good and we are able to catch many great views and animals (starfish, monkey and crab). A tasty lunch will be served and it was super good. Second half of the trip is more relax, as we are the only couple with the guide and went to different shore. Managed to see the baby crabs that are living on the shore! Great experience and would highly recommend it!
Sehr schöne Kajak Tour durch die Mangroven von Ao Thalane. Tempo ist auch für Ungeübte gut und es gibt ausreichend Zeit zu schauen und Fotos zu machen. In der Mittagspause gab es sehr, sehr leckeres Mittagessen und nachmittags noch eine entspannte Paddelrunde durch schmale Wasserläufe. Absolut empfehlenswert! Einziges Manko: haben schon viele Touristen mitbekommen und manchmal war es etwas voll.
Great day! Great communication, prompt pick up, organized launching area. Our guide Bungchai was amazing-- very informative, helpful, flexible. Great demeanor. Took a ton of pics and videos and sent to us. Lunch was delicious! The scenery of mangroves and caves was amazing and we saw so many monkeys! A great way to spend the day and explore another beautiful part of Krabi.
I enjoyed this trip! It is a one of a kind experience that one should not miss out! Opt for the full day tour even it’s more tiring - you get to see more mangrove forest and better sceneries. Our guide (his name is A) is very friendly and helped us took a lot of photos. Lunch was very tummy with authentic thai tom yum soup, stir fry veggies and Chicken with cashew nuts. Highly recommended!
We had such a wonderful day with Nice, our guide. Practically had a private tour as we were the only ones that day. He guided us across the sea to explore tranquil mangroves, hidden lagoons and surprise sandbars in the middle of the sea at our own pace. Other than another small group of kayakers in the morning, we had the mangroves to ourselves. Gliding along the river in the shadier mangroves felt like a peaceful, moving meditation. Our guide isn't super chatty but will provide answers abd information when asked. Suits us fine. This gentle young man also has a talent at catching crabs! That was fun too! We noticed that he was picking up garbage along the way to dispose and helping other people with their kayaks when we were all relaxing at the first hidden beach. Lunch was a delicious thai feast at a lovely restaurant back at the pier. I was delighted that they could cater to my vegetarian diet. Would love to come back and explore the other routes with this company.
Mr.A was a delight. He definitely was a big part of the whole mesmerising experience. Well managed even for first timers at kayaking.
Really enjoyed the tour :) it was challenging for me as we took kayak for 3-4 hours but the view was wonderful and refleshing :)
