Excursió d'1 dia a Kyoto a la destil·leria Suntory Yamazaki i al Museu d'Art Asahi

If you are a whiskey fan 10/10 recommend!! Our tour guild was absolutely incredible!! She was so knowledgeable and friendly, she absolutely made the experience more memorable. Meeting at the train station was easy. The distillery, the tastings, and being able to purchase their whiskey long with other items….. Absolutely amazing! A true highlight of my trip to Japan.

Fuji-san was a really incredible friendly guide who really helped share the unique, cultural and historical aspects of the Asahi museum and Yamazaki distillery. She was really great taking into consideration the overall group making sure that we had enough time to enjoy all the sights and sounds. The tour consisted of first visiting Asahi art museum which hosted a lot of amazing art pieces and historical artifacts, including the famous water lilies by Monet. That was quite surprising and an unique opportunity that I never thought I would have in my life. The second location, the Yamazaki distillery was a highlight in that we got to tour the distillery, immerse ourselves in whiskey making, and also an opportunity to do a tasting the “right” way - both by itself and as a highball cocktail. This was quite an unique opportunity, definitely a bit of walking but worth it. I originally did not get picked for the original Yamazaki distillery tour lottery and so opted to sign up for this Klook tour. Klook was much easier and I think was an overall better experience then I would have on my own.

Hicimos un tour con Yumi-san de la Villa Museo del Grupo Asahi y del museo de la destileria Suntory, en Oyamazaki. Nos sorprendió mucho la atención y el esfuerzo de Yumi-san, se mostró muy cercana durante todo el tour, ayudándonos desde el inicio, resolviendo cualquier duda que pudiéramos tener e incluso acompañandonos a la estación de vuelta. Si lo que buscas es un plan relajado en el que poder aprender sobre la historia de la preparación del whisky en Japón, y contemplar las maravillosas obras artesanales del museo Villa del arte, recomendamos 100% no perderse este tour. Recalcamos la profesionalidad de todo el staff de la destilería/villa, haciendo especial énfasis en Yumi-san, no podíamos haber pedido una guía mejor.

素晴らしい体験でした！工場のほぼ全ての知識が知った上で、舌も心もその山崎職人の思いを感じられます。ガイドのサチコさんがとても親切で賢いです、山崎のスタッフもいろんな知識を伝えた。こんな暑い日の時、本当にありがとうございました。また今度は機会があればきっと参加します！

A must for whiskey lovers and good experience for those who are not. Pre-book ahead as slots are hard to get. Maximize the tasting opportunity after the tour at the bar (since you can’t buy and bring home whiskey bottles).

I had the chance to visit Yamazaki Distillery along with the Asahi Art Museum, and honestly, it was an experience I will never forget. The weather was a little gloomy that day, but it actually made the visit feel even more special and peaceful. What truly made the tour stand out was our guide, Yumi. She was warm, knowledgeable, and incredibly passionate about what she does. The way she explained the history and craftsmanship behind Yamazaki whisky made everything feel alive and meaningful. It didn’t feel like a tour it felt like a story being shared Walking through the distillery and then visiting the art museum was the perfect balance of culture, history, and beauty. This was without a doubt one of the most wonderful tours of my life, and a big part of that is thanks to Yumi. I’m truly grateful for such a memorable experience and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Japan.

導遊很細心，一般上班族根本無法配合抽籤，直接課金參加這個就對了。整體行程就是先去美術館稍微看看，然後就可以前往威士忌工廠，這個行程有包含威士忌品嚐課程，課後還可以買酒廠限定的酒👍👍

La guia turística Yumi és meravellosa, durant el recorregut ens va compartir informació sobre la destil·leria Yamazaki i també informació local i altra història relacionada. Un recorregut molt agradable, el tornaria a fer al 100% si tornem a Kyoto.

The Suntory Yamazaki Distillery Whisky Museum & Tasting was absolutely unreal. Every detail was intentional — the history, the craftsmanship, the precision behind each bottle. You can feel the legacy and pride in every part of the experience. It’s immersive without being overwhelming and elevated without ever feeling pretentious. Every pour felt purposeful, and I walked away with a completely different appreciation for Japanese whisky. What truly made this exceptional was our guide. She was phenomenal — sharp, engaging, warm, and incredibly knowledgeable. The way she explained the flavor profiles and production process made everything click. She didn’t just lead the experience; she elevated it. Her passion was obvious, and it made the entire tasting feel personal and unforgettable. She deserves a raise. She deserves recognition. She deserves every good thing coming to her. I genuinely would not have wanted to do this with anyone else. 10/10.

Tant el museu d'art com la destil·leria Yamazaki valen molt la pena. Durant el recorregut per la destil·leria, la sala de maceració i la sala de destil·lació són molt interessants de visitar, i l'aroma és realment captivadora. La guia turística, la senyoreta Woohee, va ser molt atenta i, en assabentar-se que era un viatge d'aniversari per al meu pare, fins i tot li va fer un petit regal d'aniversari al final.
