Què pots esperar
Luang Prabang és una ciutat de gran importància cultural per al poble laosià, plena d'alguns dels llocs històrics i religiosos més impressionants del país. Una còmoda recollida a l'hotel us portarà des del vostre hotel a un mercat matinal proper on podreu veure la selecció de peix fresc i verdures, així com plantes medicinals. Des d'allà, us dirigireu al monestir de Wat Mai Suwannaphumaram, construït a finals del segle XVIII, seguit del Museu del Palau Reial, que va ser la residència reial oficial abans de ser convertit en museu el 1976. Després visitareu Wat Choumkhong, Wat Xieng Muan i una casa de fusta tradicional laosiana coneguda com el Museu del Patrimoni Heuan Chan, on aprendreu sobre l'arquitectura de les cases tradicionals del passat de Luang Prabang. Les vostres pròximes parades són l'Estupa del Meló i la reconeguda Casa del Patrimoni Mundial - el Wat Pak Khan, després us dirigireu a Wat Sen i acabareu el vostre recorregut al Palau Reial abans de ser deixats al vostre hotel.

Our tour, Jet, was such a lovely companion to have! He was knowledgeable and patient and accommodating. The tour itself is quite quiet and lowkey, but Luang Prabang isn't a huge place lol. Highly recommend!
It was too hot midday, under the strong sunshine, we had to listen the explain. The guide used to get heat weather but not for us. Before the start the explain, find a shade or explain inside. And midday visiting 4 temples was too hard to us. The guide should have taken to us the museum at the midday is better idea , I guess.
Nice tour guide who shares about Laos history. Detailing and mosaics motifs used in the architectures impress.

It turns out my wife and I were the only participant in the tour. Our guide (Mr. Xoy) arrived in the hotel. Apparently he came from a poor family in the remote province, was sent by his father to be a monk in the province, and fortunately he was later transferred to one of best temples in Luang Prabang. After finishing the equivalent of high school, he stopped being a monk to study in the university (while working part-time to support himself). Thus after university graduation, he became a guide, but goes back to farming during the lean tourist season. I appreciated the insights I got from him, with respect to religion and the lifestyle and social values of the typical Laotian man-in-the-street. I learned more about the ordinary Laotian people in a half-day of interacting with him, then I did from my entire week of visiting the usual tourist places.
Good experience although reaching organizer before the tour was hard
Had a pretty good guide for this trip. sorry I forgot his name but his Pict is in the photos. trip was educational, and the temples were dazzling and beautiful. interesting stories told to us about the tree of life at Wat Xiengthong. Also visited the palace and was all in all an excellent visit to see the main sights of Luang Prabang.
