Excursió d'un dia a Cameron Highlands des de Penang

Good, but only go during the Week!!! The main reason we booked this tour was to have transportation from Penang to our hotel in the highlands and thought that having an experienced driver to take us to a couole of activities would be useful, and it was. Danny was great taking us down to the highlands from Penang, showing us the Tea plantation, Butterfly Farm and a nice local Restaurant. At this point, thigs became less enjoyable mainly due to the highlands being a huge tourist destination on the weekends, but not having the road infrastructure to handle it. There is one main road through the highlands and it is completely deadlocked for most of the day on the weekends going in a certain direction (the other direction is mostly free flowing). As a consequence, Danny was not able to take us to all of the things advertised on the tour (traffic was so bad, he even started looking at hotels for himself to stay the night). If I could offer some feedback, the order of the activities should change so they go in a sequential order by location started from one end of the highlands and going down (the other direction to the busy traffic) so that we could have more time to see things. The Tea plantation was breathtaking, the butterfly farm was delightful and the animals are kept in mostly good conditions. The Strawberry farm was too touristy, with some animals kept in apalling conditions. In the end we were dropped off at our hotel which was the main reason we booked the service and overall we were happy. I would recommend this to others, but definitely do it during the week of possible and not on the weekend like we did.
