We had a fantastic trip with Michael! He was extrememely knowledgeable and very entertaining. From visiting the DMZ, suspension bridge and lake, and eating delicious food at a local restaurant, we loved it all! The 3rd tunnel is a bit taxing, especially if you’re tall but worth a walk down :). thank you Michael!

I just finished a tour with Mr Bill Hwang and One Universe Trips along with our driver Mr Kim. It was an excellent tour - Mr Hwang was friendly and extremely knowledgeable about all parts of the DMZ. We had the benefit of being part of a small tour which made it extra special as we saw the big groups slowly walking around. He kept things moving quickly, and is a self proclaimed excellent photographer! He took all the pictures we requested and suggested others too. I highly recommend this tour!

This was very educational and I’m glad we booked the small group tour as it made the whole experience better, smoother, more convenient, hassle-free. Our guide Stella was very knowledgable, pleasant and spoke excellent English. We felt like she really wanted us to enjoy and make the most out of the tour. Overall a worthwhile addition to our Seoul itinerary.

The DMZ tour was one of the highlights of our Korea trip and offered a truly unique experience. It gave us a meaningful glimpse into the contrast between North Korea and South Korea, even from a distance. Although the area may appear calm and peaceful, you can still sense the tension and history surrounding it, which made the visit even more powerful and memorable. Also, the Majang Lake was breathtaking. Our guide, Grace, together with our driver, Mr. Kim, made the tour even more enjoyable and memorable. They were both helpful and attentive, guiding us to good viewing areas and nice restaurant along the way. They also made sure we were comfortable throughout the tour and helped minimize waiting time, which we especially appreciated because we were traveling with senior citizens. This tour is highly recommended for anyone visiting South Korea. It is eye opening, meaningful, and truly one of a kind—an experience that adds depth and perspective to any Korea itinerary.

We had such a great time on this tour, and a big part of that was because of Bill. From the moment we met him, Bill was friendly, kind, and made everyone feel welcome. He did an amazing job explaining each stop along the way without making it feel like a lecture. You could tell he really knows the history and enjoys sharing it. One thing that really stood out was how thoughtful Bill was. He was always offering to take pictures of us, due to the camera restricted areas it made it easy. Bill was also happy to answer questions and made sure everyone was comfortable throughout the tour. His positive attitude and genuine care for the group made the whole experience even better. If you have the chance to take this DMZ tour, definitely hope you get Bill. He made an already great tour unforgettable. Thanks again, Bill, for such a wonderful experience!

This was simply a once in a lifetime experience. Our tour guide, Stella, was exceptional. She carefully explained the history and context, and was warm, charming and amusing throughout. our driver, Mr Kim, was also fantastic. The opportunity to hear first-hand from a brave lady who had fled the North in a small boat was a truly humbling experience. The value of this trip is beyond measure and will change you forever. DEFINITLEY upgrade to the private tour for a truly personal experience and to learn the most. Again, Stella was a fascinating and exceptional guide. She simply could not have been better. We will forever think of you fondly whenever we hear mention of Korea. You and the brave lady from the North truly made our trip. Thank you again. All our love and best wishes. We had originally booked a group tour but due to insufficient numbers, the group tour was cancelled and we were offered the option to upgrade it to a private tour for £60, which we do not regret doing! We had a fantastic day, made even better by our guide Henry. He was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive throughout, and the tour was very well organised and comfortably paced. We had incredible clear views into North Korea from Dora Observatory, followed by an excellent and reasonably priced Korean lunch where Henry explained the dishes and local way of eating. We then finished the day at beautiful Majang Lake and its suspension bridge. Henry was great company, answered all our questions and took lots of lovely photos of us along the way. A brilliant experience and we would highly recommend both the tour and Henry!

Our tour guide, Bill Hwang, was well-informed and the smaller tour group size meant more time for asking questions with defector talk and also visited exterior of JSA. Bill also accompanied us down the third tunnel, unlike other tour guides.

Henry was an outstanding DMZ tour guide and made the whole experience enjoyable from start to finish. He went above and beyond by picking us up directly from our hotel instead of making us meet at a metro station, and even dropped us back afterwards, which made the day so much easier for our family. Throughout the tour, his explanations were detailed, informative and engaging, giving us a much deeper understanding of the history and significance of the DMZ. He was also incredibly friendly, professional and approachable. What really impressed us was that he took the time to review the rest of our Seoul itinerary and gave us some excellent recommendations on places to visit. He also took some fantastic photos for us, giving clear instructions on how to pose so we ended up with some wonderful family memories. We all had a fantastic day and would highly recommend Henry to anyone visiting Korea. Thank you for making our DMZ tour such a memorable experience!
