A la vall de Katmandú hi ha tres ciutats antigues, antigament governades independentment pels seus respectius reis Malla: Katmandú, Patan i Bhaktapur. En aquesta excursió d'un dia, visiteu Patan i Bhaktapur, llar de llocs culturals Patrimoni de la Humanitat per la UNESCO que recorden el ric passat del Nepal. Aprendreu a apreciar el nom de Patan en sànscrit, Lalitpur, que significa 'Ciutat de l'Art Vivent'. (Pista: és la llar dels millors escultors i artesans de la vall.) A Bhaktapur, experimenteu com és endinsar-se lentament en el temps, amb carrers i arquitectura que conserven el seu encant antic i de maó. Durant tot el recorregut, presteu molta atenció al seu patrimoni religiós compartit. Tant Patan com Bhaktapur, d'origen budista i hindú, són riques en temples, santuaris, ídols i escultures en honor als seus déus, oferint-vos un nombre infinit de llocs per meravellar-vos.

Our guide and driver were awesome. Collected us from our hotel, we had a great time with them. Our guide, Kamal, was very knowledgeable and told us lots of interesting things, as well as answered any questions we had. His English was great too. Our driver dealt with some crazy traffic and interesting roads to get us about. Absolutely would recommend them.

This is a very interesting tour, which I would recommend to everyone who visits Kathmandu. Two ancient cities in one day, that in some ways are more interesting and calm that Kathmandu itself, many local experiences, some museums, knowledgeable and very friendly guide (Ijan).
This was one of my best day during my Nepal trip. If I did not buy this tour, I would regret it badly. Of course, I could definitely retrieve all the information from LP and follow the route from the guidebook, but having the guide with you is thousand times better! Ram explained me all the details regarding both towns. All the architectures, wood carvings and statues have their own ancient history behind, and these are all the things you couldn’t find from the book. The guide didn’t seem to be annoyed with me at all when I asked him tons of questions. Also, he was quite nice by asking me to have photos of myself every spot we stopped by as I am a solo traveler. Don’t forget to ask him to take you to have tasty Juju Dhau in Bhaktapur, so your trip could be ended deliciously and happily! 😉

We had a great time exploring Bhaktapur & Patan. Guide was excellent. She knows the history well. Driver was good too. The traffic was quite heavy upon return. Overall we enjoyed the day trip.
Our trip was supposed to be scheduled on feb 23, day after our mountain flight, but since it was moved, I immediately contacted klook if we could have this patan and bhaktapur trip instead and they agreed! This trip has made us appreciate nepal’s history as well as their culture. Their art is really amazing! A must too if you are in nepal.
This was the highlight of our cultural trip to Nepal. Our tour guide, Ram, was the best! He was our tour guide the previous day in our Kathmandu tour and he has become a friend and family. Our six-year old daughter has fond memories of him. The ride going to these cities was smooth, thanks to our driver. If you are into arts and history, Patan and Baktaphur will leave you in awe. This tour is definitely one for the books and is highly recommended.
