My first makeup lesson was such a pleasant surprise! I was worried about typical “hard sell”, but there was zero pressure here. My makeup artist, Sonia, speaks fluent English and was so attentive. She started with a thorough skin analysis and picked out products that perfectly matched my skin tone and face shape. I even got a “full sized” product set at the end, such a great deal! Afterward, I could shop for extras at a discount on the 2nd floor without any pushy sales tactics. Highly recommend if you want a chill and professional experience.

Such a fun and informative class. Both the main instructor and assistant makeup artist were helpful and patient. Went with 2 girlfriends and it was such a fun event.

The class was super worth it. The instructor was really good, spoke in English, and the fees are worth the money spent on the class.

I booked this makeup experience through Klook very easily. When I showed up, I didnt realize it was a 1:1 experience and was pleasantly surprised! I had my skin analysis which was far more in depth than I had expected. I got my foundation match and found my complementary makeup colors. I learned all the steps from skin prep to mascara. Sonia was the best. She helped me feel comfortable right away and she allowed me to learn more about how to do makeup for my face shape and for my skin color. I have often struggled to find a foundation shade that actually matches, and Sonia found it on the first try. What I really liked about this, was that I actually learned how to apply the makeup myself. Sonia would show me how to put the makeup on for one side, and I would apply it on the other. And if I messed up, she was very kind and fixed it for me right away. The products included as part of the package was much more than I expected and the extra percent off at the store was a huge bonus.

my makeup artist was Dominic, highly recommend! he did everything like EVERYTHING. he removed my makeup followed by shaping my brows (i.e. tweezing the stray hairs, cleaning up the shape of my brows), then skincare and reccomended products that would suit my skin type best as well as how to apply, did a FULL COVERAGE FULL BEAT face for me (i only came in wearing skin tint, blush and eyeliner but i left with additional eyeshadow, contour, highlight, mascara, aegyosal) he really went above and beyond, the products he reccomended i bought them and applied the techniques and tips he used for my makeup to my daily makeup now. if you can request for Dominic really highly highly recommend!

It was an amazing experience! The consultants were nice and professional. I feel like I have learned a lot. At first we learned what color of makeup suits us the best according to our eye color. We learned how to mix different colors of concealer with foundation to hide imperfections and how to use different makeup products. Since my eyes are a bit different shape, the consultant even stayed with me after the class and gave me advice on eyeliner and mascara. Would reccomend for anyone who doesn't feel confident in their makeup skills.

Jenna attended to me and she was super super friendly and professional. She spoke great English (so no language barrier at all) and was very patient in guiding and teaching me. The products used all seemed very high quality and I loved that she took the time to explain what the products were and how to best use them. She even recommended some nearby restaurants for me to try! Overall very good experience for someone who has little to zero makeup knowledge / experience.

Had a great experience at Jungsaemmool 101 with makeup artist Rosie. She was very nice and friendly, and her skills were great. She took the time to explain what she was doing, made sure I understood the techniques, and patiently answered all my questions. The colour analysis machine was interesting but not particularly impressive, as the results may not be 100% accurate. That said, I actually found a better match through Rosie’s personal advice 😄 I arrived much earlier than my booked slot due to a sudden downpour, and since we scrapped our plans to shop around Seongsudong, the team was very accommodating and managed to slot me in once the artist was available. The package discount was worth it, and I made good use of it for shopping afterward. Overall, a pleasant and professional experience — would recommend!

i was able to reschedule the day before to a later time by emailing them. but I don't think they really care about the time for the group class/makeup lesson. I arrived 10 mins late and was paired with a free sales associate who helped me find my shade and showed me how to do Korean base makeup (toner, moisturizer, foundation, lots of patting with the cushion). she was really helpful and spoke some English. you get a free foundation cushion, cushion case, and some mini size products with the lesson. I bought some products and got even more freebies , which included a mini foundation and blush. you get 20% off their products and they can do the tax refund there if you bring your passport. overall I learned a lot about Korean makeup! it was super helpful to get paired with someone 1:1. would recommend！

Discovered the Jung Saem Mool skin nuder cushion at KCon in LA. I wanted to explore more of the JSM line so this class seemed the perfect way to gain some new makeup skills while getting to try tailored JSM product choices for me. Sonia was my instructor and was amazing! She answered all my questions, asked me about the look I was trying to achieve and helped me learn how to apply my makeup wit the JSM style and technique. I also received a packed bag of goodies and put my 20% discount to good use. I would highly recommend this experience if you are interested in JSM products and want to build/learn your k-beauty makeup repertoire.
