Absolutely wonderful yukata experience in Asakusa We had such a lovely experience at KIMONO-U! The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful from start to finish. The yukata selection was beautiful, and the dressing process was smooth and professional. We especially loved that the package included the in-store self-photo studio, where we could take our own photos with fun Japanese accessories like umbrellas and fans. It was such a fun and memorable experience, and we got some really beautiful photos to remember the day. The location is also perfect for exploring Asakusa in yukata. Everything was well organised, and the staff made us feel comfortable throughout the whole experience. If you’re visiting Tokyo and want to experience wearing a yukata, I highly recommend KIMONO-U! 💕🇯🇵 It was one of the highlights of our trip and definitely something I would do again!

The packages comes with a yukata, accessories and free hairstyle that is so cute. The best part is you can also take a photo at their studio for free. thank you. definitely recommendable.

클록 특가가격으로 유카타 10벌중에 골랐습니다. 추가금을 내지 않고도 머리와 오비 장식등을 예쁘게 입혀주셔서 너무 좋았어요. 센소지 바로 앞이라 반납하기도 좋았고, 큰 캐리어도 기꺼이 보관해주셨습니다. 기차시간을 잘못계산하여 예약시간보다 1시간정도 늦었지만 체험하는데 문제가 없었습니다. 한국인 리뷰가 적어 걱정했는데 가게에 왜 사람이 더 없는지 의문일정도로 친절하셨습니다. 다음에 겨울에 오게되면 기모노도 여기서 빌리고싶습니다.

Very close to Sensoji Temple. Easy to access and it's located on the third floor. There is a locker to leave your stuff. Staffs are mecha kawaii and helpful. Thank you so much! Took the basic set and it looks great! We had fun!

They have a lot of options to choose from. If you want the more exquisite type of kimono or yukata, you have to pay extra. They have a studio where you are free to take pictures at.

Book it!! Book the yukata rental and book the photographer! It was worth every penny! The owner is the photographer and he did an incredible job with the pictures and even did a little retouching. I was shocked on the high quality of the photography and the staff was incredibly kind and so helpful. I opted to upgrade my Yukata as I wanted a better quality fabric but you cannot go wrong with any of them. It was an incredible and once in a lifetime experience.

This was one of the best experiences of our trip! The kimonos were beautiful, with a wide selection of styles and colors. The staff were friendly, patient, and skilled, making the dressing process easy and comfortable. The hairstyling was elegant and completed the whole look perfectly. We felt welcomed and well taken care of. Everything was organized, and the experience exceeded our expectations. We would happily come back again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic and memorable kimono experience.
