Great experience. Hike or bike the temple (first stop) if you can. The scene there is fantastic. There are lots of food stalls in Ita-Thao. The cable car is fantastic and total roundtrip is about 20-mins. The windows are. open so you can definitely feel the fresh air.

It was very easy to redeem ticket instead of standing in line. easy come easy go. Klook is best. WE MUST USE KLOOK FOR ALL TICKET BOOKING. KLOOK IS NO #1. By same ticket you can visit 3 pier . you can get down by baot and visit each pier and make sure you take last boat from Ita tao to Suishe pier. last boat from Ita Tao is on 1730 hrs. keep this mind.

it was a very unique experience! the cruise was great! Although, we were not able to try the ropeway. 1st, it was not explained properly upon redemption where to go to ride the ropeway. 2nd, no one can understand english in the ticket redemption booth or anyone in the cruise. maybe it was partly my fault that I didn’t dig up details enough to fully enjoy this tour. nonetheless, i can see myself doing this again just to enjoy a peaceful getaway. maybe staying in the area for 1 night will do the trick

Ticket redemption is conveniently located just outside Shueishe Pier Station. Simply present your ticket to hop on and off the boat. The cruise makes stops at three piers. At Xuanguang Pier, you’ll find a temple perched at the top, offering a beautiful view of the island. The next stop, Ita Thao Pier, is bustling with food stalls and drinks, perfect for sampling local flavors. This pier also connects to the Ropeway, where you can ride the gondola up to the Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village (separate ticket required). At the Ropeway Station, a food court is available, making it easy to grab a meal before or after your ride. Overall, the journey combines scenic views, cultural sites, and plenty of food options—an enjoyable way to explore Sun Moon Lake.

We got to explore the sun moon lake with this ticket. You have to purchase this ticket to be able to ride the yacht/boat which travels to 3 ports around the lake. Each ports has its own scenery or activity. In ita thao port you can ride the cable car to get to the formosan village.

The ride was very nice! :) I enjoyed the view :) For the ropeway, I really enjoyed it but for those with Acrophobia (fear of heights) like my husband, this may not be a good idea. Nonetheless Sun Moon Lake is breathtaking! 🥰🥰

easy to redeem:) the bicycle rental place was easy to find - they keep your passports/other licenses for security though. the cycling trial was very beautiful and a must to do. you can also redeem the boat tickets at the shuishe pier. ropeway was good too, except that it got stuck for a few minutes at the time i was on it.

super easy to redeem and use. i bought just before redeeming it in front of the vendor. they scanned it and gave us our tickets for the boat rides (must use on the same day) then, i scanned the QR code at the cable car station and got our paper tickets to get on the cable car
