added on the costume rental and makeup for the complete experience. many pretty corners to take nice pics. essentially chinese omakase. food tastes alright, not say mind-blowing. the concept of watching performances while eating is so immersive just like an emperor. but pernsonal opinion is that i cannot multi-task in properly savouring the food and understanding the show at the same time

One of the best ways to experience both Chinese cuisine and traditional performance in China. There was a hiccup when we arrive despite making prior reservations however we managed to get dressed and had makeup done in time for the first course of the dinner. My advice is to prepay the costume and makeup as it cost more when paying upon arrival. Food was delicious and portions were great, performance was entertaining and we had a good time.

It was indeed an amazing experience. We were told to arrive At 5 pm for make-up and dress up before dinner at 7 pm. The selection of Hanfu was really extensive and the make-up was very professional. Beside the dining hall, there were several photo spots for us to take photo in the Hanfu before the dinner. For those who can’t take beef/seafood, vegetarian option is available. Otherwise dishes are fixed and they can’t accommodate to non-spicy. Highly recommended!

So much fun! They didn’t end up having availability for the night I preferred, so I went to the lunch instead. The place is actually called Xu Yan, you need to book in advance via WeChat. In Hangzhou, this it is in the Starcity centre - it is like a business building. If you are getting makeup done you definitely need to of to do the hair too, they do an incredible job and completes the outfit! Professional photography is expensive compared to other place - for every additional photo you buy (200¥ per touched up photo- I ended up spending $260AU for 8 photos, looking forward to receiving them in a week). Food and performance were enjoyable. Overall I was there 10am - 2pm for dressup, photos and meal.

very interesting experience to dress up like the ladies in the old time with all the related era accessories. clean and nice clothing to choose with. Dinner menu is very good and tasty. Stage performance is great and interesting too about that particular era. overall an excellent experience and highly recommended.

Extremely fun with the dressing up, playing of ancient days games with ancient old paper money. The dinner was also delicious. Definitely should try with the dressing up and photoshoot

很特別的體驗，一家大小都玩的開心。食物質量很高，每一道都是美食佳餚！就是坐的位置視線有點被擋，我們換了位置之後好了，但是就是很熱，而且我付款買的是vip票，結果坐到第三排，感覺有點付款多了。

挺特別，會想再來一次。就是希望廁所可以更乾淨，空調可以開大一點，位置可以分高低讓第二排也能看到

化妝很仔細，莊頭很有氣派，食物很精美，就是坐的位置熱。
