Hi ha un vagó cafeteria amb una selecció de menjar i begudes per comprar per afegir al teu gaudi del viatge. 集合場所は駅と書いてあるが、具体的に駅でどうするかは書いてない。チケットセンターへ行って予約時のQRコードを見せたが、結局コードを読み取らずに予約番号を控えて手動でチケットを発券してもらい、指定の座席へ。座席は二人ずつ向かい合う四人席だが、この日は空いていたので1人で４人席を独り占めさせてもらえた。進行方向に向かい、通路を挟んで左側と右側で見える景色が違う。もちろん行きと帰りの２回チャンスはあるが、空いている日をお勧め。窓は小さく身体を出せない作りのため、写真撮影は汚れた窓越しになり、光の反射などで難しい。途中のHINDONという駅と折り返し駅のPukerangi で車両を降りて休憩タイムがあるため、写真そこでゆっくり撮れる。車内ではカメラではなく肉眼で壮大な景色を楽しむことをお勧めする。私は英語があまり得意ではなく、車内にアナウンスされる男性のガイドは2-30パーセントしか聞き取れなかったが、それでも若干タイミングの悪いガイドに感じた。見所などは変わらないと思うので、手持ちのパンフレットやガイドを外国人向けに用意されても良いのではと思う。特に中国の方も多く、歴史的にも関わりが深そうだったので、英語と中国語だけでも良いし、できれば日本語もお願いしたい。天気も良く、景色は最高だった。車内にはコーヒーや軽食も販売しており、５時間街を離れて電車にゆっくり揺られる価値はあった。駅の中にある小さなスポーツ博物館も６ドルで入れるが見応えもあり、お勧め。
The Gorge train journey was beautiful, stunning scenery with a real sense of nature and history throughout the trip.
Fantastic tour we enjoyed every moment. The views are spectacular through the mountainside, the markets run by the locals was a welcome treat for buying gifts and the coffee and snacks on the train was a pleasant and enjoyable surprise.
A wonderful experience looking at the scenic view onboard a train with so much heritage and history.
Was a great day dispiite the wind , great scenery with good commentary, lots to see, train wasn't full , so plenty of time to move around
