We booked the Hoi An Half-day Private Countryside & Villages Tour on Klook and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. A big highlight of the trip was our two guides, Huong and Hong, who were extremely punctual, professional, and welcoming right from the moment they picked us up. Their hospitality really stood out—they were attentive, friendly, and always made sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves throughout the journey. The entire tour felt very well-organised and safe, which made it easy to relax and fully take in the countryside scenery, village life, and local culture without any stress. We never felt rushed, and the pacing of the trip was just right, allowing us to enjoy each stop properly. Overall, it was a smooth, enjoyable, and memorable experience, and we would highly recommend this tour—especially with guides like Huong and Hong who truly made the trip special.
Gràcies i espero tornar-vos a veure ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Absolutely loved this tour and can't reccomend it enough! Our guides, Sandy and Vi were incredibly warm, informative and caring. the pottery village and class was unique, the farming activity was wholesome fun and the coconut forest boat ride stole the show. The meal afterwards was also a great authentic experience. Overall, a great way to explore the surrounding areas of hoi an.
Our guides are Sandy n Ying Er.Both are caring n are willing to explain things. Safe to ride on their bikes. Ying Er is bubbly n can converse in Mandarin. And it is very good tour and many things we've experienced that we are not able to have it in our home country.😚👍
Really good motorbike tour with very nice tour guides, Loan and Âu, very knowledgeable, caring, passionate and professional. We first went for the basket boat in the coconut forest. Before going on the boat we got a cool drink served. The Tra Que village visit was really the highlight for me. You learn to prep the soil, plant seeds and water it. After that we went to a pottery atelier. It was really nice. Thank you Áo Dài riders, Loan and Âu, I will miss you dearly until we meet again. Chị Tiên
Highly recommend this tour. I've literally been on a motorcycle only 3 times before in my life but our guides Loan and Âu really looked after us and made sure we had a great time! I saw Loans name on other reviews and was so happy when she introduced herself that we also got her! The villages are all very interesting and it was a good combination of sites and enough time. Our coconut village guide took us around into quieter areas and showed off the plants and what the villagers use. We also watched the boat spinning which is very popular but is a extra- bring some cash so you can pay on the spot if that's your thing. Next we went to the herb village Tra Que where we tried at setting up a garden bed with one of the farmers, got to seen the plants they grow and pat a buffalo! Interestingly this village does not use artificial fertiliser but bury algae as a green fertiliser. Next Loan and Âu took us to the pottery village Thanh Ha where we tried making our own pots (you don't get to take them FYI) and have a look around at the stores. They make very cute animal whistles and the stoneware is very pretty so I sacrificed some luggage space for some really cute cups. Next we went for lunch and our guides were keen to show off the local food. We had been in Hoi An for a few days and have tried several of the signature dishes but settled on next trying Mì Quảng and they picked a excellent local spot, was delicious! We really didn't want the day to end so they also gave some suggestions on where to find good salt coffee, the next thing I wanted to try and took us there too to end the tour. Overall I would highly reccomend this tour over the others that take you to just one or two of the villages, this was 3 and I felt you got enough time to see things and not be rushed. By doing the motorcycle route you get to see more of the area than if we had taken a tour bus, as we went through the quieter local streets, it was too hot to cycle in April and we would not have achieved all of the places we visited in the day. I would not with my level of experience ride a motorbike, so was good to have an experience rider. Additionally we can't say enough about how Loan and Âu really looked after us in getting us safely around, listening to all our questions and giving us some great local insights on where to try- we got some dinner recommendations as well. Would say this is the best option for seeing the craft villages and the guides are very friendly with lots of local knowledge. Given that it's a private tour and per person comparable in price to the group van tours- it's a no brainer to pick this. What to bring: - Some money for souvenirs and tips, I’m from a country that doesn’t tip and it didn’t feel like an expectation from anyone on the tour (had to chase down the coconut boat guy to give his) but honestly they look after you so much better than other areas of Vietnam which are very tourist orientated and more pushy around tips for service, and it’s a way to say thanks for making it a great experience, - Lots of water, as the tour stretches into midday and you are on the road, don’t forget this or a hat/sunscreen and sunglasses - suitable shoes especially for Tra Que, the ground is very soft and wet. shoes you can rinse off are good, also might get wet in the boats if you do the spinning Camera or phone, the guides take photos for you and also take some on their phones which they send to you but you do the coconut tour on your own with the villagers so need to take your own also
If you are vegetarian and have a small kid (around 3 years old or above, you must consider this tour if you coming to Hoi An. Our riders are Pa Le and Nguyen. As a family of three (with a 3 years old kid), the tour is definitely worth the value! First, both Pa Le and Nguyen rode us safely all along the way. They also introduced Hoi An to us in the journey with good English. Moreover, they make sure our kid enjoy the activities throughout the tour, and taking good care of her. We managed to make our own pottery, and our kid could experience the vegetable planting with her own hands. The local families were also very nice and willing to cater our requests. As we are the Buddhists and did not consume alium, Pa le and Nguyen helped us to survey and brought us to have a delicious lunch at a vegetarian restaurant. Overall, we all enjoyed the food, the activities and we had lot of fun! strongly recommend this tour!
Kim Loan was an excellent tour guide. she was very friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed the activities. I made a little ceramic pot and tried the farming. the food was really good as well. the chicken rice was my favorite. really recommend this tour
Super fun trip taking the motorbike to travel around Hoi An!! Very value for money and had lots of fun during the journey :) Got to make your own pottery and even got some ceramic carvings as free gifts 👍🏻 The farming experience was very fun, got to plant and loosen the soil 🌱 Our guides Annie and Thao were very friendly, had lots of fun with them too!! Highly reccomended 👍🏻👍🏻
The highlight of our Hoi An Tour! Our guides Annie and Hoa made sure we will have a great time even though it was raining a bit. They are very friendly and accommodating. They also gave us a lot of food recommendations. The uncle and auntie who taught us farming and pottery are nice, funny and patient. We also had fun with the basket boat ride, our driver here is funny and friendly too. This is a higly recommend tour! 👍😊
