Basílica de Sant Pere amb entrada opcional a la cúpula

I booked a different tour of the Vatican museums and Sistine Chapel for the morning, but my son really wanted to go up to the dome. I was unsure if adding this was going to be too much walking for me and my son after the morning tour. I am happy to say I am so glad I added this to our itinerary because it made us feel like our trip to the Vatican was now complete. What a special and unique way of looking down into the nave of the basilica, and a wonderful view of the city from above. My son said it was one of the best things we did on the whole trip! We met the guides outside the designated café, and they helped us with walking us to the start of the line. We only waited 5 minutes to get through security, and then we were free to roam around the inside of the basilica and up to the dome at our designated time slot.

We bought the tickets to skip the queue but there was no queue in the early morning in January. However, the lift access was worth it cause the steps was quite high, therefore was harder to climb. Thanks to no crowd, we took our time up on the dome and taking photos. The architecture , the art works and the views were just amazing amazing. There is a little gift shop on top of the basilica which offers nice presents for loved ones.

This was an amazing experience and the Basilica is stunning and grand. The guides led us to take the elevator that saved at least 300 steps. The climb to the top was acceptable but be prepared for the narrow steps. The meeting point was a bit difficult to find but they offered you for a free croissant and a drink.

梵蒂岡旁邊一個小咖啡店集合，運氣很好隨身行李檢查人不多，檢查領隊會帶大家直接去搭乘電梯，上去後會看到穹頂超美！再往上爬一段階梯才能到最上面登頂！看到整個梵蒂岡美景！很值得一來

Visiting St. Peter’s Basilica was an incredible experience. The self-guided audio made it easy to explore at our own pace, and going up the dome was definitely worth it for the breathtaking views of Vatican City. Everything was well-organized and smooth—highly recommended.

An absolute architectural masterpiece! Standing inside St. Peter's Basilica is a humbling experience; the scale and detail of the interior are simply breathtaking. The highlight, however, was climbing to the top of the dome. The panoramic view of Rome and St. Peter's Square from the summit is unparalleled and worth every step.

Absolutely gorgeous view and architecture, but a very long queuing time of more than 2 hours. Also be prepared to have a hike.
