Excursió d'un dia a Venècia amb tren d'alta velocitat a la plaça de Sant Marc i els canals

Anto és una guia turística increïble. És molt clara amb totes les instruccions i s'assegurava que tothom s'ho estigués passant d'allò més bé i que ningú es perdés. El grup va tenir molta sort que el temps fos realment bo. També estic content d'haver pogut viure el Carnaval de Venècia el dia de l'excursió. En aquesta excursió també s'inclou un bitllet de ferri gratuït, de Sant Marc a l'estació de tren. Ens vam reunir en un pub per prendre aperitius gratuïts i Spritz (o qualsevol altra beguda) abans de tornar a l'estació de tren. Va ser un dia llarg, però super divertit. Una manera fantàstica d'acabar el meu viatge a Itàlia. Recomano molt aquesta excursió.

It was a last-minute decision to book this tour but I’m glad I did. Despite my limited time in Italy, I was able to see the highlights of Venice in a day. The departure time via fast train was good enough to give us about 6 hours to explore Venice. Overall, it’s a good, hassle-free option if you really only have a day for Venice. DO NOTE: There’s a possibility that your group won’t be a sole English-speaking group. Ours was mixed with Spanish-speaking participants. This may have divided the guide’s attention in terms of translating twice but it didn’t matter for me. Just something to take note if that’s important for you. Lastly, I hope the package has an option for those who: 1) Don’t want to use the water boat and 2) Would like to skip the happy hour meeting. I believe these would’ve cut down the cost a bit. I found just walking to the station more efficient compared to using a sort of crowded water boat which takes 40 mins to get to station. Overall, good deal for convenience.

Our guide Jacob was GREAT. Lots of fun and very friendly and helpful. He told us the best places to eat and how to get a gondola ride at a reasonable price. And while we spent time with the guide, we also broke off on our own. Meeting for the train was smooth as well.

The tour operator is from Gray Line. They are organised and provided clear instructions on the meeting point. The tour guide assigned to us was good. She spoke good English and gave us enough time to walk ourselves. The 4 hours train ride was comfortable. Strongly recommended.
