Excursió a Ljubljana i al llac Bled des de Zagreb

I booked the tour the night before and booking was very easy. I received confirmation soon after, along with the pickup time for the next day. On the day of the tour, the operator even sent an email to inform that the pickup would be 5 minutes late. It was definitely a surprise that they would inform for even a 5 minutes delay. Thereafter I was picked up by my guide, Maya. Maya was impeccable in her guidance throughout the tour. She is not only knowledgeable about Slovenia, but she’s also a great communicator, always taking care to point out certain landmarks to us so that we may use them to navigate the area. As a guide, Maya is one of the best that I’ve met so far and from the start to the end, she was very professional and thanks to her, I truly enjoyed the tour to Ljubljana and Lake Bled. (P.s. Can I also add that she’s a great driver.)

The trip first took us from the meteorological garden in Zagreb old town to Ljubljana. it was a small group tour. However, the other members of the group cancelled their tour and we were left to be the only ones on the trip. We were glad that the company didn’t canceled us and we were able to go. We did the old town walk at Ljubljana with the guide, she recommended Slovenia food to try and chocolates to buy. We took the plena boat ride to the island at Lake bled. it was a beautiful and relaxing day with beautiful weather. We also had cream cake at Park Hotel as recommended by the guide. The guide said she will send me the recipe for making the cream cake and I am looking forward to it.

El guia i conductor és molt professional i amable, i durant tot el trajecte ens va fer una introducció detallada de la història, la cultura, etc. Ens va portar amb seguretat als llocs d'interès i ens va donar temps suficient per visitar-los lliurement. El castell i el vaixell del llac Bled tenen un cost addicional, i es pot decidir si participar-hi o no. El guia també va oferir altres suggeriments, com ara: fer una caminada al voltant del llac, gaudir d'un deliciós pastís local a la vora del llac, etc. La furgoneta de vuit places és molt còmoda i la planificació del temps és excel·lent, sense ser massa ajustada.

our driver/guide Mathias was very helpful. he gave us ample time to be on our own. to top it all it was only me and my mom on the van.

It was a great day trip. We were a small group of 7 people. Bled Lake is an amazing place and Liubiana isa beautiful capital.

I was surprised at the last minute private tour (as other participants cancelled the previous day). The experience was beyond my imagination (I had previously joined one of their tours a few days prior and had an amazing time, therefore this one is bound to be even better). The tour in Ljubljana and Bled was like going on a drive with a friend that’s local. Everything was perfect: perfect weather, perfect timing as there was barely anyone around so I was able to take a lot of good photos and had some assistance from Maja that also takes amazing photos and perfect itinerary of the day trip. We spent some good time at spots that I liked, shared a story or two, the drive was never boring (even got the opportunity to see a glimpse of the Alps!) and was given a lot of consideration and choices. Truly a remarkable memory and experience that will forever be ingrained in my heart whenever I think of these locations.

The tour is amazing. Our tour guide Maja is very knowledgeable with the history of Slovenia and Zagreb.

the guide/driver was knowlegeable and share so many facts about the place, the only downside is his driving skills which is scary and felt unsafe he was going 180 which we are not used to it co sidering roads slippery due to the weather

La guia va ser fantàstica. Va explicar la història i tot amb detall. Va ser divertit. En general, el lloc visitat era bonic i fascinant.
