Audiència Papal i Visita a la Basílica de Sant Pere a la Ciutat del Vaticà

The papal audience was great but the St. Peter’s basilica was just too much. Too many people and too long a wait. i should have booked the skip the line ticket but the guide was truly patient and very kind.

The entry to the Papal audience and Basilica is free you are paying just for the guide. But it was a nice experience as the guide explained a lot about the history.

the tour guide is helpful until the end.. although the line was still too long but atleast we made it inside after an hour..

grateful to witness papal audience, when it was announced to be on hold until May28. since entrance is free, expected the st peter Basilica have special lane as part of the tour, but ended up in line with the rest itinerary:

it is not necessary to buy these tickets, unless you want a tour. I thought it would help us get seats to the Papal Audience. In reality, tickets are for free. If you want to see the Pope, just go on a Wednesday to St. Peter's Basilica. The doors open at 7 AM. Make sure you're there before 8 am. The seats get filled up around 9 AM and the Pope appears around 930 AM. Choose the seats nearest to the barricades because the pope mobile passes there. We didn't take the tour because we were so tired and hungry, we chose to go home instead.

I got this because I wasn't sure I'd be able to get a ticket to the papal audience. Unfortunately, I was able to get a ticket to the audience but decided, oh well. I actually lined up to get the ticket for the papal audience. Took me about an hour. So getting this was a bit worth it because you can skip that line. Then when I was at the Papal Audience, I learned there was a mass and considered skipping this tour. But I didn't know where to line up for the mass so I joined the tour anyway. Of course, during the tour, I figured out where to line up (facing the basilica, the line between the obelisk and the right fountain) So next time, if I'm willing to line up for the ticket, I'll skip this tour. One disadvantage of the tour is that it keeps moving forward. But sometimes you want to dwell on things like the Pieta. And the way the basilica is set up, there are some places you can't return to. So choose: line up for papal ticket or spend money

予約時には12時終了とあったが、実際には午後１時半ごろだった。事前に長いショートメールが来て、服装の注意などがあり、それは正当なものだと思うが、｢第２部｣のサンピエトロ寺院見学の集合時間が午前11時20分となっていた。これで正午に終わるわけがない。｢第１部｣のセレモニーは午前10時には終わっており、１時間以上周囲のカフェなどで時間を潰さねばならなかった。これが毎週のことなら、予約時にはっきりと明記すべきだ。第一部の終了後すぐに第二部に移れば、12時時半には終わったはずだ。そうでなくても第一部も第二部もセキュリティーの列に並ぶ時間が非常に長くて疲労困憊するので、このツアーでは時間の表記は極めて重要と考える。イタリア国鉄ですら、特急の30分以上の遅れは補償をする（実際に経験した）。何らかの補償を求めたい気分だ。

Ive booked with klook many times and there are no issues. but for this one, the operator cancelled the tour on the date and time when all the participants were already there. The english guide had an emergency and had to go to the hospital (understandable), but they promised a refund. They took our names and qr codes but the refund never came. Upon following up with klook, the operator said that we proceeded with the tour, which is false. Dishonest operator. If you want to see the pope, its free and if you want to enter st peters, its free as well, so this is only for the guide, and they wont even refund even if its their fault. If i were you, id pass.

Be more considerate to elderly guest like giving suggestion when to meet that is accessible.
