バスは綺麗で、乗り心地も良かった。行き帰り共に海岸沿いや山道を走るので途中に見える景色は最高だった。 特に行きは山道を通るので、車酔いをする人は酔い止めを持った方がいいかもしれない。

Travel from Taipei City to Hualien County by Bus

Hualien County is a pleasant city located on the eastern side of Central Taiwan, facing the beautiful Pacific Ocean. Foreign tourists, and even Taiwanese locals, come to visit the small city because of its scenic beauty and the surrounding fresh air. Some of its must-see sites are Taroko Gorge National Park, located a few kilometers up north, the Qixingtan Beach, and Quingshiu Cliff. Being situated at the east, another great activity to try is whale and dolphin watching. It's easy to book a tour for this activity as there are many local merchants who offer tour packages.

Hualien County’s rainiest months fall between June to September. The best time to visit the city is around October when the climate transitions from summer to winter. It’s also nice to visit from November to April when the weather is cool.

Hualien is relatively a small city without an extensive transport system. The city center can be explored by foot, but the best way to go around is by renting a scooter for about TWD400 a day, or a bicycle for TWD100-400 a day. One or two-day bus passes are also available which will take you directly to Taroko Gorge National Park.
