We liked our room that faced the river. Comfortable bed, nice sitting area, Nespresso maker and refrigerator was a requirement we had so 👍. Having a separate toilet room with sink was nice. Breakfast buffet had a lot of options. Staff in the dining room were attentive. Bar service was very slow and other reviews said the same thing.

One of the better Hotels that you will stay in. The bar rightly was once voted best Hotel bar in the world. Afternoon tea is stunning. The staff were incredible. The local restaurants in Lyon are world class. Fantastic property.

Very Good breakfast Great staff An incredible building that makes you feel like you’re in a castle, the courtyard and green areas, huge columns, and walls It’s a former hospital years and years ago that was bought and transformed into a hotel. It sits right on the edge of a busy part of town where you have many many choices for restaurants and entertainment and movies, and right on the river. Having dinner there Sunday night revealed one of the best creative chefs in Europe. Look it’s not cheap to stay there but it’s like staying in a castle with it’s vast areas for you to enjoy This is very different from most hotel stays. It’s an exceptional experience. R King Dallas

We absoulutely loved the hotel. It was clean,conviniently located.Vvallet parking was available. Breakfasts were delicious,and service was great. We are very happy with that hotel.

Beautiful hotel in perfect location. Walking distance from all the sights, sounds and cuisine that Lyon has to offer. Concierge services went above and beyond (shout out to Julliette and all). I seldom order room service on vacations but I am so glad I took advantage this time. The breakfast was both delicious and very generous. Also ordered dinner one evening and was thrilled with the food and the quick service. Highly recommended indulgence!
