I spent five days at the lodge. The staff is excellent. Most have been working at the lodge for 20+ years. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and bathroom was small but functional. I appreciated being able to open the windows at night for fresh air. The pub is first rate. I strongly suggest having breakfast there. They have a selection of yogurts and cereal but the star of the show are the freshly made hot meals. I had eggs with toast and bacon each morning. Each plate is individually made, no warming bins with hours old food like the big chains. On Sunday evening, I had a friend join me for Sunday roast with turkey, beef, and ham. The gravy and all the trimmings were excellent. My friend lamented that he was staying at the courtyard. All in all a first rate stay.

Stayed 1 night for an event in the morning

We waited for over half an hour to then be told the breakfast we'd ordered wasn't available. Since we were staying here for a business trip we then couldn't wait any longer for breakfast - we had paid extra for breakfast and the requested refund has been denied.

Great staff. Choice of Dodd and clean comfy rooms

Amazing staff, excellent whiskey collection, room large but tired, major downside shower hardly has any power, ended up with shampoo in hair impossible to wash out. Staff is great, both evening and morning teams. Very welcoming. Better hotels in the area for not a lot of price difference. Could do with electric car charger points.

A very comfortable stay worth great rooms and good dining.

Location in was quite and we were glad we got room 19 which is on the ground floor [ no stairs ] restaurant on site and hot breakfast was very good .plenty of parking on site was excellent. Staff were very good.

Overall was good. Close to where I had to have meetings. Restaurant was really good as well was good value.

Lovely hotel close to the airport. Nice environment and a great restaurant.
