Great location and the suite was excellent (the usual rooms are very small and no desk in the room but the reception area has working space). All the staff were very polite and kind especially the cleaners. Would definitely stay again!

My husband and I loved this hotel. It was very clean and modern but with luxury combined. The bar area and restaurant was elegant and the patio was perfect for watching the sunset and enjoy some drinks. The pool was amazing. Never have seen a pool like that before. We absolutely would recommend anyone stay here.

We stayed 2 nights in Hotel Karl August after our river cruise. The staff were friendly and efficient. The social area between the lobby and restaurant was very comfortable and inviting. The room also exceeded expectations especially the bathroom amenities. We’ll certainly book here again if we return to Nuremberg.

We loved the location. Right in the middle of Nuremberg old town. The included breakfast was superb. We stayed in a superior double room. The room was fine but did not have the following amenities that would have made my rating a 5 star., no body lotion, no conditioner and no mini fridge. No wash cloth in the rooms but were available in the spa/pool area.

This my second time stay in this hotel after fascinating experiences in the first stay 2 years ago. I would say this time, It was okey (below my expectations built up by my primary experience) due to quality of services. After I checked in, I went to my room and found the room very small and outdated, while based on my first stay, I had found the hotel very modern and clean. Then, I requested to change my room and the staff did it while I have been told that they are fully booked. Overall, the balance of this time services and cost of each night stay didn’t seem to be reasonable in my second stay.
