we had a great stay at lake side nikko! the lady at the front was incredibly sweet and accommodating :) the room was spacious and came with all necessities. if you have heavy luggage be ready for a workout since there are no elevators. otherwise great service and comfortable stay! 10/10

Las fotos no reflejan la realidad del hotel, es muy antiguo y descuidado. Está muy alejado del pueblo y poco accesible. Muy mala experiencia. চমৎকার As expected. Be aware that this is relatively far from Nikko and there are very limited food options around. The Japanese breakfast was excellent and the staff were very accommodating.

Lots of insects in the room. No view of the lake whatsoever. Pillow is too soft and too thin. Too expensive for this standard of hotel.

The room was spotless and the staff , and especially a young woman there (Shirona?); was especially helpful. The area the hotel is situated in is awesome and next to public transportation. The onset was nice too! Thank you!

Peaceful lake, quiet area, nice overall room. You can get there by bus, but it's coming once per hour and it doesn't run too late. The onsen had the sulphur smell (rotten egg), but it's the natural spring "flavor". Breakfast was specific japanese, though not really to our liking (no fault of the hotel)

Quiet and relaxing onsen inn, an economic choice as well. A short walk up from a bus stop, with a lovely view of the lake. Great for a relaxing get away.
