Rooms are average size.and comfortable. However there is little storage space to unpack our clothes and stow our luggage so our room felt more cramped. The location is great with good restaurants nearby and the hotel restaurant is also delicious. Pool area was nice we.spent every afternoon there after coming back from excursions. Staff on site is friendly. Would stay here again.

Our room was clean, staff was wonderful. Did not eat breakfast, stayed 1 night with 2 kids. Older area, best hotel in the area. Would recommend tgis hitel, would stay again.

Clean, comfortable place to sleep in Hilo. Self-parking is across the street in a gravel lot. Would recommend and will definitely return.

Elevators never work, over the past times I’ve visited the valet parking has gone up, ants in the bathroom, never cleaned rooms until requested even though they asked and confirmed wanted my room cleaned daily. Twice they threatened to leave when they arrived after our request saying they didn’t want to hit traffic. Twice they mixed up our keys at the valet and almost gave us the wrong car. Ice machine is never working.

We booked through Expedia and booked an “Oceanfront” room. When we arrived we got checked and noticed our room was partial ocean view and located on the 2nd floor right above the bar and by the pool (where every night we heard screaming kids and people at the bar at 3am. We complained but nothing was done.). We pleaded that we came from Arizona and asked to be moved to a different room preferably upper level and Oceanfront which we thought we had purchased. They told us that it was the only room available and they were fully booked. They never acknowledged our frustration and even told us to complain to Expedia and that they have nothing to do with what Expedia is advertising. Awful customer service. Never coming back for sure!!!
