The hotel is in a reasonably convenient location for the airport, which was the main reason for choosing it. However, the property clearly requires some renovation. I understand that refurbishment involves significant costs, but cleanliness is a different matter and should always be a priority. Unfortunately, the bathroom was not clean. Finding a toilet seat that had clearly been splashed with urine was unacceptable, and there is really no excuse for this. The shower was another problem. There was no proper seal, and the gap between the glass screen and the bathtub meant that water poured onto the bathroom floor. This is not only inconvenient but also raises a genuine Health & Safety concern, as the floor became very wet and slippery. Because the room, and especially the bathroom, left a lot to be desired in terms of cleanliness, I decided not to eat at the hotel. On the positive side, the reception staff were very friendly, polite and helpful, and I appreciated their attitude. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about the housekeeping team. One member of housekeeping entered our room without knocking, which I found very inappropriate. We were then approached twice and seemingly encouraged to leave early, despite the fact that there was still almost an hour before the official check-out time. What disappointed me most was that, after I pointed this out, there was not even an apology from the housekeeping staff member.

Overall, our stay was okay, but there were several small issues that added up. The biggest concern was that one day into our stay, our room had been allocated to another guest due to a system error. We only discovered this because our key card had stopped working and we encountered the other guests trying to access the room. Thankfully nothing was missing, but it was concerning that someone could have had access to our belongings. We also had to have our key cards reprogrammed again the following evening as they stopped working a second time. The toilet didn't flush properly throughout our stay. Housekeeping made the beds and changed the towels, but the used cups, mugs and rubbish we had left on the table were not cleared away when the room was serviced. Breakfast was good with a decent selection, although some items took a while to be replenished. The staff were polite and helpful throughout, so this isn't a criticism of them. However, we were never advised about the parking charges on arrival, meaning I'll most likely receive a parking charge notice despite paying afterwards. I'll be appealing it. None of these issues alone would have been a major problem, but together they made the stay less enjoyable than expected

Absolutely fine for a short stay.

Reasonable breakfast, if choice a bit limited. Quieter than expected, given proximity to airport. Room was clean but hallways were in need of TLC.

I stayed only for one night for my early flight. It was comfortable and pretty clean. I would stay for a night because of the distance from the airport. Which is only 10 minutes walk.

Breakfast was good,didn,t use any other services.
