Nice hotel, very close to airport, but not too noisy, lovely roof top bar to sit with a beer and watch the planes

Upon our arrival we’re greeted at the door with happy faces staffs. The place was No near to the airport, the view was breathtaking.

We used hotel one night to fly out next day. Cons: Room with bunk beds and Queen bed was roomy, but room with 2 twins was very small. Twin beds were not wide like a regular twin, more like 2/3rd of a regular twin. In both rooms, bathroom is a triangle in corner of room, very cramp like one on a cruise. The wall was dirty with kids' scribblings near the beds and mysterious stains running down the wall outside the bathroom. There were stains outside the doors to the rooms too, I was looking for a clean spot to knock. Overall, the rooms need a good scrubbing. They were giving me an icky feeling. Pros: Hotel overlooks the Tan Son Nhat airport tarmac so you are a 4 min ride to your flight. They provide free shuttle that can be arranged when checking in. Reception staff was pleasant and helpful. There's a Starbuck in the hotel lobby if you don't have time to venture out. Hotel sits next to a (empty) mall with a food court but we didn't try so can't comment on that. Verdict: Hotel's greatest asset is being so close to airport and free shuttle so it's great if you're flying out next day. Downfall is the lack of cleanliness! Would I book again? Highly likely not because cleanliness is a huge one for me. I rather allot time for the drive to the airport and stay at a cleaner hotel.

I enjoy to be in ibis hotel.

Room was clean, just very hot on arrival and took a couple of hours to cool down. Shuttle bus to airport the next morning didn’t anticipate I had an internal flight (not an international flight) and dropped me at the wrong terminal - there was only option as far as the hotel information was concerned. This meant I spent an extra 40 to 60 minutes trying to get to the correct terminal.
