We got a free upgrade from a standard trip room to a kitchen cabin. Overall the kitchen cabin had a few dead flies and bees near the window. Might have froze to death in the cold. Other than that, the area was clean. Nothing much about the views because it was rainy and gloomy when we arrived. Everything was in order, check in and check out was ok too. We were able to leave our luggage at the counter before check in too which was great.

Simple room. Many beds. Cheap accom.

Cool little campground type stay, close to town center.

The motel was perfect for our group of 15.. the rooms were clean, warm, and comfortable. Its a short drive to the shops, but the location is spectacular.

While we valued the scenic lake views at this stunning and prime location, it is possible to stroll to the Town Centre along the waterfront. Our experience, when compared to other accommodations on this lovely Southern Island, could have been even more favorable if there were no fees for towels, the availability of an electric blanket, amenities such as tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and cookies, additional wall outlets for electrical devices, and a private bathroom. There were only two electrical outlets available, one located in the kitchen area and the other near the heater. In the dark the separation of the foundation from the room could be a tripping hazard. The WiFi was poor unless you went to a common area.

The place was nice and very well located, perfect for walking by the water or going into the city centre. Parking was easy, and my room was clean and comfortable. However, the staff were not very present or informative. Nobody explained at check-in that I needed to get a basket with cutlery and kitchen items if I wanted to use the kitchen, and by the time I realised, it was too late. There was definitely a lack of information. Also, the place is very large and busy, with a lot of people around all the time. Personally, I prefer smaller and more intimate places.

Very nice stay for someone on a roadtrip to Milford Sound. In fact the reception was nice enough to book the cruise ticket for me. Rooms are very tidy and common amenities are easily accessible. Soundproofing is lacking though, since you can hear people in the hallway or in their rooms

good cheap stay for a rest before heading to milford sound staff were friendly and helpful kitchen was well maintained lounge area had a tv and few tables to eat after cooking checkout process was easy just drop your keys overall a good time would recommend

Nice property, rooms are a little smaller than they appear on the photos but fairly standard size for this kind of place. Rooms and bathrooms were clean and parking was very easy. Only thing to be aware of is the shared bathrooms get very cold at night since they leave the windows open so be prepared if you have to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night.
