Staff was very helpful for directions and restaurant suggestions. Very close to train station. Close to Metro. Clean room, good space, and nice bed.

Do not recommend for the brits. It may be ok for some budget friendly countries where minimum standards are bit low.

Bad experience. Don't worth the cost. Unclean smelly room and also ask for extra pay for towels

The bad: - Came at 8 at night, nobody answered the freaking doorbell, some lady that was staying there came from a store and opened the main door for us; luckily for us or we would’ve probably slept outside. - City tax was €30 which to USD conversion was more than what was stated on the “Expedia receipt”; cash only even though Expedia states it can be collected by card. - Temperatures were right around 2-8 degrees celsius in Rome and we had no hot water access on either the shower or faucet; we know hard water is a problem but they could atleast turn on the heater for a limited time frame. FYI when taking a shower, water is as cold or colder than outside temperature. - First room had a broken and faulty toilet that didn’t stop water from running and was constantly filling the water deposit. - We had wi-fi for the 1st day, then on the other 3 we had from extremely poor connection to no connection at all. - No room cleaning on the 1st day so we asked for the room to not be cleaned at all until we left, either way they wouldn’t have cleaned it. - €2 for towels which is stated but come on; no hand soap, no bath soap, no shampoo, no hairdryer in our room but in others there was one - 3rd floor is the “common area”, microwave was dirty. - Bathtub in our room had a faulty “water trap” which wouldn’t allow for water to drain at all. The good - They changed our room quickly due to the toilet issue. - Access to Roma Termini Station. Hotel or HoStel? Go ahead, skip it and pay more.

We came late and couldn't enter. We called the office, nobody answered. Eventually we entered the property. The room has no towels, no ac, some fixtures didn't work. I didn't sleep the whole night. The environment at night looks very insecure. The next day we moved to another hotel.

Hostel Beauty? More like Hostel UGLY! To begin with, it was difficult to find and when checking in, the staff member was a bit rude and impatient. We were then placed in a two single bed room when we had booked a double bed, which they admitted was their mistake but claimed they could not change. The room was extremely hot (which made it difficult to sleep in) and there was only a dusty, old fan to cool us. When asked about the AC, the staff member said the fan was sufficient and that there was no remote for the AC. The shared bathrooms were all extremely dirty, poor smelling and unhygienic, and the bedding/curtains had a few questionable stains. Neither the bathrooms nor the kitchen looked as though they had been cleaned in months. The oven didn’t work, and all of the taps only ran warm water which was unpleasant to drink. The shower water temperature constantly changed without reason or relation to the temperature dial. There was a general uneasy atmosphere and we would recommend not staying here, it’s worth paying the extra €10 to stay somewhere more pleasant, feel safer and get a good nights sleep. This was not worth what we paid.

The staff was friendly. No AC but it was cool at night so it was not a big deal. Relatively noisy but we are deep sleepers. Walking distance from a lot of cool things or near the train station.

The smell and the room cleanliness were not acceptable standards for us. We got out of there within 1 hours. We got another hotel room somewhere else
