Perfect spot, rooms were great, friendly staff. Only slight complaint is rooms need more hangers, when it's booked for 2 people. Otherwise everything was perfect. Will definitely book again

We try and stay at Pippi's everything we travel to Newcastle. It's ideally situated and the food is delicious.

All the accomodation was upstairs with no lift. This was not stated in the ad. Also the road noise was horrendous waking me up at 4 am!! in the morning. I immediately checked out but has to wait until 9.30am in order to meet personally with a member of staff

Everything was fine except the Bath towels were marked as if not washed properly. They had black streaks in them. Otherwise very clean, well appointed and very comfortable.

We had an overnight stay at Pippi’s after being at Port Macquarie for the day and geez I must say for hotel/pub accommodation this place was just great. The check in procedure was so swift with the lady assisting just superb and so friendly. She personally escorted out to the stairway and pointed us to our room which was very helpful. Dinner in the restaurant was absolutely delicious and the choice of refreshing beverages at the bar being fantastic. The room was more than satisfactory with very comfy queen and single beds, and plenty of pillows on each bed. A good supply of tea and coffee, a large HD television, a very good sized balcony with a table and 2 chairs, and a very nice and modern bathroom. The entire unit appeared to have been recently fully renovated being very clean. Despite being near a busy main road, we heard zero road noise which made for a good nights sleep/rest. Pippi’s overall package of accommodation, dining and bar service along with the superb location overlooking the beautiful Lake Macquarie was just great and I would strongly recommend Pippi’s at the Point to all and sundry - thanks for a great overnight stay!

Rooms are nicely renovated and fairly disability friendly but unfortunately you need to get up a steep set of stairs to get to the accommodation. They need a lift so that people with walking disabilities can access the rooms easier.

This is a long review. We stayed here 4 nights 2nd from the end, facing the side st. (east). Bathroom looks new. We were told we don't get the room made up everyday, but we got fresh towels and bins emptied everyday. Room is very noisy from road noise. Door didn't fully seal which allowed another more road noise, but we used the air-conditioning for white noise. Remember you are staying above a pub, so there is live music on weekends. Easy to hear from your room. wifi and reception is poor. Great location. Looks out to lake. Get coffee across the road at Ally Expresso. Not enough parking but you can park next door behind the shops. As for the Bistro, great range and service. Warning, read the reviews fully. If you are ordering steak, and you prefer more than raw, please check it before you start eating.

Nice, Clean Room with a good view. Staff were helpful and friendly.
