We didnt feel.welcomed. thhe female staff are extrnoce, but the older male staff is unfriendly. We felt like we are imposing on him. The room is also very dirty.

The hotel is not quite "ekimae" (in front of the station), but it's only a couple of blocks away. Friendly and solicitous staff went a long way toward making my stay enjoyable. And the price-performance is good, especially when Hiroshima hotels are full or crazily priced. One thing: I had to book a "smoking" room, because all the non-smoking rooms were booked. There's a reason they were all booked, Japan hoteliers: no one wants a smoking room, not even smokers. End smoking in hotel rooms!

Very hospitable host in a clean and modern hotel. Very environmentally conscious and provide complimentary breakfast. Good value for money and a nice place to stay
