We didn’t have the breakfast but walking in the lobby it smelled so good!

Good hotel, clean and staff pleasant. Parking available. Unfortunately no responses to emails before and after stay (emails in Japanese and English). Which meant although we booked for an infant and requested a cot, the hotel did not provide one and the room was too small for our travel cot. We also contacted them by email after stay when we left something in the room the hotel but again no response to emails in English and Japanese to arrange for us to retrieve it.

People working there are so nice!

Nice spa. Nice for staff to put our heavy bags in our room. Excellent service for reasonable price.

Hotel front staff did not understand requirements for foreigners with address in Japan. Managers need to be educated. Requested copy of personal information even though evidence was shown of address in Japan.

I tried to extend my stay for a day because of the changes of my itinerary due to some reasons but I was refused. It was still very good because I found a cheaper one with free breakfast close to the airport.

Great experience in beautiful surroundings. But Handa although geographically proximate is quite a long commute from Chubu Airport

The staff wasn't able to communicate in English. The transportation to the airport was not convenient though it's located next to train station.

Candeo was great for a 1 night stay. The rooms are very small, however I get the impression this is normal in Japan. My room in Tokyo was even smaller than the Candeo in Handa. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast isn't bad for about $10 USD... it is a Japanese style breakfast. There is a Japanese style bath in the hotel. Also, the neighborhood is nice and quiet. Candeo is very near the Chita-Handa train station. This in convenient for traveling to and from the airport as well as downtown Nagoya. It is however about 30 - 45 minutes to the airport via the rail line and about a $65 USD taxi ride.
