good location, easy to park did see two large roaches in street level lobby staff was nice room was large

I had an unexpected trip out to Cincinnati because my elderly mother went to a trip and got sick and I had to fly out to get her. I took her to stay at this hotel for a day and a half while we waited for our flight to fly out, she rested recuperated and we went downstairs to the restaurant whenever we needed to eat it was absolutely lovely. It was a beautiful place to stay and we were so grateful for how kind and caring everyone on the staff was.

Great historical property close to many restaurants and sites.

Beautiful historic architecture. It’s showing some age and is attached to empty storefronts. But the hotel is great.

The hotel itself is in a great central location. Plenty of bars, restaurants, and the ballpark within walking distance. The room itself showed its age. Carpets, walls, bathroom, all showed their age. Bed was clean, no issues there. Biggest issues were the shower water temperature and the air conditioning unit. Shower took forever to warm up. We nearly called the desk to request a switch before it finally warmed up. The AC died midway through our stay and the temp jumped up to 77 in the room. After shutting it off for a bit, and finally charged back up but never got below 74, and the humidity was uncomfortable. The AC was extremely noisy, making loud clanking noises all throughout the night. Was a tough couple nights of sleep in Room 1410. You get what you get for the price, as it was one of the most reasonable central hotels. Wouldn’t stay again unless necessary.

Terrible stay, first they gave me someone else’s room and someone tried to get in while I was already in the room. This was quickly fixed. The faucet in the shower was leaking and made loud noise, I asked them to fix it no one ever came by to fix it within the 4 days stay. Overall room is outdated as well as the bathroom.

Beautiful older hotel right in the middle of everything downtown.

#1)They checked us into a room that was already being used. We went in the room and someone’s stuff was in the room! #2) After we got a non-occupied room, the air conditioning unit was SO noisy. But not in a nice relaxing white noise way. More like it sounded like a tarp flapping in the wind and rattling like crazy. #3) Also, NO HOT WATER!!! Beware! Several nights we let it run for about 20 minutes and it never got hotter than lukewarm. Only one night out of our 5 night stay did we have hot water. #4) no parking at the hotel unless you want to pay valet $60 per night!! So be mindful that there aren’t parking options unless you pay to park. We found a place a block away that was $21 a night.

Rooms were nice and spacious.

I would like to start off by giving a shoutout to Tanesha. When I got to the hotel, it was still pretty early. She asked if I wanted to become a Hilton Honors member so I could check in early. I agreed and, not only was I able to check in right away, but I was also placed on the 26th floor, which was really nice. The hotel is clean, the lobby is spectacular, and the staff is very nice and helpful. The only thing I would say isn't ideal is how weathered the hotel looks. It is an old building and I understand the importance of maintaining its structure and style, but some touch ups wouldn't hurt. Overall I would still recommend this hotel, especially due to its convenient location.
