The location is good, walking distance from the tram station, easy to get to CBD, only 4km to the CBD, but using public transport is much easier due to traffic and parking.

We have stayed here a lot but it may be time to find somewhere else. For several years the hot water situation has not been great. We have raised it with staff and given all manner of excuses but on this 3 night visit we did not have hot water 3 mornings in a row. Luke warm at best. Ever needed the cold tap. Closer to cold water one morning. Nice rooms, great location. No hot water. And not the first time. Manageable in Summer but not winter.

Simple and comfortable through the whole process. Close to the city and just a short walk to trams. A great place to base yourself for a couple of days. Great restaurant onsite for breakfast and a fun bar for a drink or two in the afternoon.

Good view, good room. We had to ask for disposable toothbrush/toothpaste, slippers, it would have been nice if they offered 2 water bottles a day for the guests.

We’ve stayed at View Melbourne a couple of times now. The room sizes are great and the location is great for ducking into the city or heading Prahran/South Yarra way. Have always found the staff friendly, useful, and helpful. Great spot for young families, like us, too.
