The hotel is located in a mixed residential and industrial area. Very quiet and clean. The staff is super sweet and helpful. There was a short electricity outage because all the (portable) A/C units were running full speed. There was temperature record in Munich the day we were there. 33 degrees. The problem was fixed quickly.

The room was clean but obviously worn. Expedia has it listed with breakfast available but there wasn’t any breakfast so that was disappointing. We enjoyed the 2 separate spaces in number 11. We had a contractless checkin which worked fine. It’s a cool place!

I stayed at the House of Records for 5 nights with my mother in late September and had an excellent stay. The owner Volkan and his brother Mucki are excellent guys...very friendly, helpful and really made you feel at home. If you are looking for a unique place to stay in Munich, I highly recommend it!

The rooms were very modern and clean. The bathroom was spacious and the shower had great water pressure. The owners of the hotel were awesome about our after hours check in, making sure that we knew how to get our room key. I would definitely stay here again.

Very nice staff and really cool hotel concept. Kids loved the bunk beds. They probably have the nicest bunk beds in Europe.
