This hotel is in the best location for exploring the old city of George Town. Close to lots of restaurants and sites. The room was very comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful.

friendly kind helpful staff. clean cool comfortable quiet rooms. fabulous central location. will definitely stay again and happily recommend to friends. i thoroughly enjoyed my 2 weeks there.

The hotel manager is incredibly charming and goes out of her way to make sure that we have a great experience. The rooms are compact, with a very comfortable bed.

Not so much a boutique hotel as a better-than-average cheapie. Many rooms are windowless (not unusual for Malaysia) and the place is basically a reasonably well kept low-rise guesthouse, part of the multi-year gentrifaction of central George Town. Good in terms of nearby eating options and walkability.
