Fabulous and historic property with interesting architecture. Like all stately home type properties some of the decor is difficult to maintain to a high standard, so there are minor signs of wear here and there and no aircon. The food, staff and service are very good, breakfast was of high quality. We didnt try the spa but seemed to be appreciated by those on a spa package. The grounds and garden were fabulous ,especially the view from the outside patios. Overall highly rated and most enjoyable.

Hotel and staff were really good as normal but I was in a second floor room that was very warm and the addition of 2 fans to bedroom did not help cool it and in fact made it difficult to sleep. Still like the hotel, just not that room!

Staff were very helpful at all times. Incredible facilities available for guests (I personally took advantage of the pool for a bit of exercise). There's lots of space available for parking, and it's in a nice quiet area, with great access for Stratford.

Bar staff (Grant) and head of resturant (Claire) were excellent, both helpful and engaging. Breakfast and dinner were superb. Our room was dated and would be better once rennovations were undertaken, however it was adequate for our stay.
