যেহেতু আমি স্টিম ট্রেনে চড়তে চেয়েছিলাম, তাই পেঙ্গুইন দেখতে দীর্ঘ যাত্রা এড়াতে আমি এই ভ্রমণপথটি বেছে নিয়েছিলাম। যদিও দামটা একটু বেশি মনে হয়েছিল, তবে সুবিধার জন্য ঠিক আছে। একজন অংশগ্রহণকারী হলেও কোনো সমস্যা নেই! সৌভাগ্যবশত, বাসে আমার সহযাত্রীরা সবাই খুব ভালো ছিলেন এবং ড্রাইভারও বন্ধুত্বপূর্ণ ও মিশুক ছিলেন। স্টিম ট্রেনটি খুবই মূল্যবান ছিল, আবহাওয়াও চমৎকার ছিল এবং দৃশ্যও সুন্দর ছিল। আমি পরামর্শ দেব যে ট্রেনে উঠেই আপনার পরিবার এবং বন্ধুদের সাথে দ্রুত আসন গ্রহণ করুন, অন্যথায় সুন্দর দৃশ্যের ডান পাশের আসনগুলো নাও পেতে পারেন বা অন্য কেউ আপনার আগে বসে যেতে পারে! চিড়িয়াখানার ভ্রমণটি হয়তো ততটা ভালো ছিল না, খুব বেশি ক্যাঙ্গারু দেখা যায়নি, তবে কোয়ালা দেখে আমি খুব খুশি হয়েছিলাম! একটি ছোট ঘটনা হলো বাসটি বেশ গরম ছিল, চকোলেট কারখানায় কেনা চকোলেটগুলো মেঝেতে রেখেছিলাম এবং সেগুলো গলে গিয়েছিল!

আমি যতটা ভেবেছিলাম তার চেয়েও বেশি উপভোগ করেছি! প্রথমে, দাম বেশি হওয়ায় আমি একদিনের ট্যুরে অংশ নেব কিনা তা নিয়ে দ্বিধায় ছিলাম, কিন্তু এই ট্যুরে ভিক্টোরিয়া চিড়িয়াখানার প্রবেশ মূল্য (সাধারণত ৫৬ AUD) অন্তর্ভুক্ত থাকায় এটি লাভজনক মনে হয়েছিল। ভিক্টোরিয়া চিড়িয়াখানায়, আমি কোয়ালা, ক্যাঙ্গারু এবং ওয়াম্ব্যাটের মতো বিরল প্রাণী কাছ থেকে দেখতে পেয়েছি। যদিও প্রাণীদের স্পর্শ করা যায়নি, দুপুর ৩টার বার্ড শোটি দেখার মতো ছিল। স্টিম ট্রেনে ডান দিকের জানালায় বসলে, ট্রেন ছাড়ার সাথে সাথেই যে সেতুটি দেখা যায় সেখানে সুন্দর ছবি তোলা যায়। গাইড নিচ থেকে ভিডিও তুলে দেওয়ায় এটি আরও ভালো লেগেছে। বেলগ্রেভ স্টেশন থেকে লেক সাইড স্টেশন পর্যন্ত প্রায় এক ঘন্টা সময় লাগে। বাসে যাতায়াতের সময়ও প্রাকৃতিক দৃশ্য দেখা যায়, তাই যারা অস্ট্রেলিয়ার প্রকৃতি উপভোগ করতে চান তাদের জন্য এই ট্যুরটি সুপারিশ করা হচ্ছে।

The ride was fun, though not as exciting for adults as it is for children. Still, the scenic views along the way made the trip worthwhile. Our guide, Marse, was excellent—very nice, patient, and knowledgeable, which made the whole experience better. Overall, it’s a unique activity with beautiful surroundings, but definitely more of a highlight for kids and families.

I had so much fun riding Puffing Billy! The train looked like something from the old days, and it felt really special to ride with my family. our tour Guide David was great! he gave lots of information not only about the place we are going to but also about Melbourne itself. He also helped me and parents take a good photo so that was a plus! the train is must try even for one, you’ll also get to enjoy waving with the locals as they are all so friendly! the sanctuary was also enjoyable since it was a first for us to see koalas☺️

Had a wonderful day out with WineHop Tours. Our guide/driver LORRAINE was amazing and lively. Puffing Billy was a real unique experience. And a must for all visitors to Melbourne! We had a quick lunch at Lakeside Station. Healesville Sanctuary was awesome. Lorraine informed us that only Aussie animals reside in this sanctuary. And recommended the platymus keeper talk at 2pm and the Flight (bird) show at 3pm. The latter was super amazing and not to be missed!!! Spot the Tasmania devil and echidna!! The chocolaterie was a little crowded (Saturday) but served delicious ice cream! All kinds of yummy chocolate there. And great scenery too!

I booked this trip two days ago, and it was an unforgettable experience with Puffing Billy. The Healesville Sanctuary was nice, and you can interact with the animals for an additional charge. However, in my opinion, the Moonlit Sanctuary is better. Our tour guide, David, was great! He made sure to explain all the details thoroughly. I recommend this trip because it ends at the Yarra Chocolate Factory, which is a sweet treat to round off the day. One suggestion I have is that the company could offer more pickup locations besides Hotel Windsor. It would be helpful to have a few options for those of us living in Melbourne CBD, near William Street, or Flagstaff Station.
